Read moreConsidering the history of A'ala Park, it is certainly on its way to returning to the majesty of the Royals. Two years ago, the homeless, drug dealers, and alcoholics had overrun the park. When I went there two days ago, there were only four people in the park, no shopping carts and tents, the trash was picked up, and it was peaceful. My friend and I sat on a bench and talked for a great length of time...relaxed, laughing, and the environment was peaceful! What a difference!!! *Four Months Later...the tents and shopping carts, drugs and alcohol are back...almost as bad as it was before the last sweep.
