I have always wanted to ride the Mount Hood train. For years and years I have looked forward to this . This had to be one of the worst experiences that I've ever paid for. Ended up costing me $90 for an hour and a half train ride. We got stuck into a car with two families and three children that were crying. The family with two of the crying children also had fighting teenagers. No one was wearing masks. We were literally trapped for an hour and a half and all three children screamed for about 80% of the time. There was history over the loudspeakers and music that we could not hear. Both my boyfriend and I consider jumping from the Train! If you are going to put us on a train car maybe you should consider putting all the small children on one car and the adults somewhere else. Parking is expensive and today we found food and garbage ALL over the parking lot, garbage cans were literally overflowing without any trash receptacles available. It's a prime Summer weekend and there are two dirty sani-kans for hundreds of people as the bathrooms remain locked.

After trying to find a reasonable parking situation for several hours, receiving a ticket for parking illegally even after we had paid for the spot.(RV 32') 2' over the line into a chained off entrance to public area.
