Upsidedown Wine — Attraction in Hood River

This is my favorite winery in the gorge. Their Nebbiolo Rosé is to die for as well as their GSM and Rhône blends (although all the wine is delicious). With Washington grapes, they have some different varietals to offer than what you usually see in the area. The tasting room staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell that they genuinely care about the wines. The tasting room is super cute with minimalist vibes, not to mention the place is dog friendly!! I would definitely make this a stop on your Hood River wine tasting list and consider joining their wine club! Don't forget to bring your four legged...

Some of the best wines in the immediate region, but also the greater WA and OR areas. Seth, the winemaker has worked alongside some of the biggest names in WA and is receiving critical acclaim for the Upsidedown offerings. With that being said, he and his wife are some of the most friendly and positive people you will ever meet, and this reflects the sort of relaxed, no pressure vibes you'll get in their tasting rooms. GF and I stopped off at Upsidedown's tasting room as it had come highly recommended by a few friends. I loved the look and feel of the space and their commitment to educating guest on the wine making process appreciated (cool mural on the wall). Most importantly their wine might be the best wine in Hood River (2014 Gold Drop Malbec being my favorite) I highly recommend Upsidedown Wine if you are in search of a great glass while in Hood River.
