Fresh & best donuts — Restaurant in Houston

LLLLOOOOOVE....LLLLLOOOVVVVVE....LLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEE this place! I always seem to write negative reviews, and thought it was time to write a positive one for a restaurant / bakery. So I HAD to pick this place for OUTSTANDING customer service and GREAT food! The boudin kolache--both mild and spicy...OMG!!! Sooo good! The two people who run this bakery are so friendly. They are always smiling and welcoming. This is what customer service should be---neighboring restaurants and bakeries take note. 1) Every time I go in they genuinely seem happy to see me and other customers. You can feel how much they like their customers. Very welcoming. 2) Donuts ALWAYS fresh. 3) Perfect sugar/cake ratio. The donuts aren't as sweet and cloying--just the right amount of sugar so I can actually taste the cake. Not like other large neighboring franchises that put a POUND of sugar on their donuts!

I have NEVER had a bad experience here. I hope more people learn about your bakery. I've been coming for a couple of years now. Keep doing what you're doing! You have a customer for life! LOVE...

What an incredible experience at this kolache shop! We placed a large order of 60 kolaches, and not only was everything ready in under 10 minutes, but they also generously gave us complimentary donuts. The service was impeccable: the lady who helped us was incredibly kind, especially with my son. She let him choose his favorite donut and even gifted him a lollipop, which absolutely made his day.

But let’s talk about the kolaches—the flavor, freshness, and texture were all perfect. Every bite was just right! Honestly, they deserve a Michelin star for the quality they deliver. The lady even walked me to my car to help load the boxes with the entire order. And this was after my wife had called just 5 minutes earlier to place the order! It’s a family-owned business with amazing customer service, and the attention to detail is just incredible. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Update 2021— There is a new killer kolache called the bacon, extra jalapeño cheese sausage kolache that i just love. It’s unworldly. It’s a meal in itself and you will probably skip lunch and nap to recover, but it’s so worth it. —- I have looked around at many different donut shops in the near northwest area and this place is the only place I know that has boudin kolaches. The sausage and boudin kolaches are phenomenal and the donuts are just right and not overly sweet like Shipley’s.
