I had an extremely terrible experience in this Costco. Me and my bought some clothes, food, and daily necessities. Typically, when we check out, we place all items on the counter, but the cashier instructed us to leave everything in the cart, saying he would scan them one by one.
After checking out and leaving the checkout area, my family packed our purchases into our own shopping bags to leave. Just as we reached the exit, three large men suddenly rushed over, blocked our path, and demanded that we return to the office with them. They then escorted our cart back to the office, surrounding us on all sides as if we were criminals. I asked for the reason twice, but they refused to answer. My father, who is ill and has difficulty moving, was holding my two-year-old child, yet these employees showed no concern. Both my parents and my child were frightened by this sudden confrontation.
Once in the office, the manager, Clinton, badge number 2002, asked us to unpack all our purchased items and present the receipt. He accused us of intentionally hiding merchandise by placing five pieces of clothing at the bottom of our cart to steal them, claiming that putting clothes in shopping bags was evidence of theft. I was extremely angry and felt insulted; I was just an ordinary customer, yet I was falsely accused of theft. In reality, during checkout, all products in the cart were displayed to the cashier, who simply missed scanning the clothes. We were busy attending to our hungry child and didn't pay attention to the receipt at the time.
Manager Clinton also claimed he had been watching us for a while, which explained the immediate interception after checkout. We hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, yet this special attention made me feel targeted once again. The manager's various accusations and his differential treatment towards us felt profoundly unfair and discriminatory. Instead of questioning his employee about the oversight, Costco's manager chose to doubt the customer first and subjectively concluded we were thieves, which I find completely unacceptable. During our conversation, he constantly interrupted me and emphasized that there is zero tolerance for theft. Subsequently, he cancelled our membership and banned us from entering Costco premises.
As a loyal Executive Member of Costco for nearly a decade, I am deeply disappointed and angered by their handling and attitude. I hope the relevant authorities investigate the facts and provide us with an apology and...

Management was in contact and personally apologized. They truly went above and beyond, even though we repeatedly told then that a simple apology was more than enough. We were simply not going to return to the location, but we were made to feel welcomed on our second visit. We were given a lovely tour of the store and had such a wonderful person to person conversation with the GM and the MOD. I highly recommend visiting this location. The pizza is absolutely fantastic, by the way.
The short, older Hispanic woman who worked the self checkout area on Saturday, October 3, 2020 during the afternoon is EXTREMELY aggressive. She had been "helping" a woman next to my group and I overheard her raising her voice and being very rude to the woman. There seemed to be some discrepancy about payment and the employee was laying in to this woman and tossing her items around.
We had never used the self check (at Costco) before and it is a bit touchy and specific to Costco. A younger, nicer Hispanic woman came over and offered us assistance on the way the items have to be rung up. During the scanning process, a light item (two loaves of bread) wasn't registering as being in the appropriate area. That's when the rude, older employee came over to us. It turned out that my friend had unknowingly leaned against the tray you must stack your items in.
This woman literally yelled at my friend about it being her fault before storming off. When we went to pay, there was trouble reading my debit card chip and my mom's food stamp card. The older employee returned and was again very rude and shouted in front of everyone that Costco does not accept food stamps. She then made a scene asking if we wanted her to put our items back. At this point, I had had enough of her. I told her no and asked her to leave us alone.
She muttered something under her breath and walked off. I'm not sure if this woman was having a bad day or what, but that was so out of leftfield. Literally every single other employee we interacted with in the store was so nice and helpful.
And surprise, surprise, Costco DOES accept food stamps. I read the bad reviews for this location, but you never know how accurate they are until you see for yourself. I never expected this store to be this bad. We're definitely going to the Bunkerhill location from now on, even though it is...

Costco is a membership-only warehouse club that is known for its low prices on a wide variety of merchandise. I have been a member of Costco for several years, and I have always been happy with my experience.
The prices at Costco are typically much lower than the prices at other stores. This is because Costco buys in bulk, which allows them to get lower prices from suppliers. I have saved a lot of money on groceries, electronics, and other items by shopping at Costco.
The selection of merchandise at Costco is also very good. They have a wide variety of items, including groceries, electronics, clothing, home goods, and more. I have always been able to find what I am looking for at Costco.
The service at Costco is also good. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always happy to answer any questions I have.
The only downside to Costco is that you need a membership to shop there. However, the membership fee is relatively inexpensive, and it is worth it for the savings you will get on your purchases. Also, if you have a small family, you will take forever to run out of some items, and of course with foods that you can not freez, like milk, they will go bad.
Overall, I would highly recommend Costco to anyone looking to save money on a wide variety of merchandise. The prices are great, the selection is good, and the service is excellent.
