Fitness & Recreation Center — Attraction in Houston

Half of me selfishly wants to rate this one star so the best-kept fitness secret in Houston doesn't get out...

But I can't because this gym IS AWESOME.

Never have to wait for equipment, great classes, great trainers, all the facilities you need for the most part. The locker room isn't the nicest, but it gets the job done.

Its not the nicest, fanciest, but it's also has all you need without any of the hassles. Everybody is super nice and the atmosphere is great. No pressure, no meatheads, it feels really safe.

Hours are constricting on the weekend but you can make it work.

You can't beat the price. $25/mo is an absolute steal.

Also special shout out to Becca's spinning class because she somehow makes an otherwise difficult...

Wanted to buy a day pass ($10) so I could take pictures of my son's first MMA event. Unfortunately, my son's event was in the middle of the gym floor--hard to film. Tried to pay $10 to go to the upstairs gym area that has a clear shot down to the fitness floor. The incapable and unkind guy at the cash register couldn’t do it if I was just going to stand up there and take pictures and not move--even if I paid for a day, and even though nobody was ysing the entire balcony (track) area. We had our kids birthday party here. The place is great. So much to do for all ages. The guests like it so much. Anyone looking to have a party here should book it for after hours to make it a completely private event (with nominal extra charge). All the staff members were also very cooperative.
