Hines Lake — Attraction in Houston

Gorgeous park and lake area. Plenty of space for walking and taking a picnic. The lake is nice and there are several different areas where you can walk by the lake. We went on a warm summer sunny day and I didn't notice any bugs or mosquitoes during our walk. Not sure if that would have been different had we laid around for a picnic, but others seemed to be enjoying themselves at their picnic. Very busy walking trails, but there are multiple ways to go to not be too crowded. Paid parking in some areas, but it's pretty cheap. We paid $1.20 for 3...

Wonderful, relaxing getaway in the city! Lots of wide trails and scenic views. Ample parking - three hours for a dollar! Great place for a picnic on the grass or a stroll by the lake....

Beautiful place, lots of space to jog around, watch the sunset and see the fish and turtles swim through the waters.. there 2 food trucks for when you’re hungry.....
