The King Tut exhibit was wonderful. The exhibit price was $27 and that also gets you into the general museum. A little disappointed because all the exhibits were reproductions but amazingly well done. And worth the price. Reenactments of the actual rooms discovered in the Tomb was fantastic.
My favorite exhibit was the full size shrines, sarcophagus, and coffin cut in half for viewing each of the 9 layers. Nine is a sacred number in ancient Egypt.

Read moreYou can spend an entire day here and still not fully take in all they have to offer... I've been here several times and it is worth going back each time. At some point I'd love to go alone so I can give proper undestracted time to talking it all in.
That said my 12 year old daughter loves this place.
The section of rare rocks and gems is memorizing. It gives you a look at our world that you may have never known existed.

Read moreI LOVE this Museum. There are very few museums as complete and expansive as this one. Maybe New York, Chicago Field, or DC's Smithsonian are on the same level as the Houston Museum. Love it so much we have a family membership we can use throughout the year. Although we live about 45 miles away, we still make time to visit. The only negative is the parking situation.
