Ironworks — Attraction in Houston

🎯GREAT POTENTIAL FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES At first glance, you'd see a small, unassuming building with a large grass/gravel parking lot. Walk in and you'll be surprised by all you will see! Two booths selling food and one selling coffee are strategically positioned in the small front area to ensure plenty of customer seating.

Beyond this area are the local business stores selling clothing, jewelry, paintings, crafts, desserts, and the list goes on. The long hallway is lined with fascinating stores. Don't forget to look UP ⤴️. There are more stores built on top of stores. The owners of the building have used the space wisely, yet in an aesthetically pleasing way.

Until more businesses move in and there is a constant flow of customers, I suggest going on a weekend. Not much is happening during the week. However, if you want to skip the crowd experience, the building, food, and most stores are open on weekdays during the day, except for Mondays.

While out in the East End of Houston for lunch, we made a stop at Ironworks Marketplace. This recently renovated warehouse was repurposed and now is home to colorful containers used as market stalls as well as co-working locations. There’s a coffee bar, a smoothie joint and a place serving up sweets with tables, chairs and even sofas for you to sit down on. Amongst the market stalls you’ll find soaps, jewelry and dog clothes to name a few. Plus check out the colorful containers themselves and murals that adorn some.
