Horrible place to go. My first visit there was April 2024 and it was horrible. I was seen by a Dr whom I could hardly understand. But we communicated enough for her to start prescribing a medication I been taken for years. she refilled this medication without problem till the month of December 2024. That's when I call my prescription in and I get word that this doctor doesn't work there anymore. I'm thinking it's ok another Dr will refill it because other Drs have filled it for her on days she was on vacation and so on. Boy was i wrong and this is 7 days before Christmas and I'm leaving to go see my family in 2 days. And of course there's no open appointments to see a new Dr. You would think they would have enough common sense to call her patients and tell them. Hey your Dr got fired so you should schedule a appointment to see a new Dr especially if you take any medications you depend on. I finally got a appointment on December 30,th 2024 with a new Dr. And that's me not having any medicine and me spending more money to change my flight back early and less time I get to see my family because of these peoples incompetence. Please save yourself the trouble and time don't go here.
One more things to clear things up. The medication I'm talking about. Is not a controlled substance or a narcotic. It's Tizanidine.. it's used to relieve the spasms and increased muscle caused by MS and...
Read moreGot there at 10:20 for my 10:30 appointment, signed in and paid my copay. At 10:50 I asked for an update on my appointment since I wasn't passed back yet the lady in the front said “ ohh yeaaa she is running behind this morning 30 to 40 minutes “ I asked “ 30 to 40 minutes from my appointment time?” And she said “yes.” They called me back at 11:04 and told me Dr will be with me right after shes done with a patient ( I taught she was running late from my appointment time ) I told the nurse my main concern but I wanted a full yearly check up. Dr came asked me about my main concern went over it and left. Didn’t offer flu shot, blood work etc. At that point I didn’t even feel comfortable asking for those things since they just seemed to not care. Had gone to 2 different Kelsey-Seybold and had good experiences. Decided to go to the one close to me and wasted my whole morning on my day off. Why not tell me she was running behind before I paid my copay? Why did I have to ask after 20 minutes? What happened to...

I’ve been going to Kelsey for over fifteen years. The latest saga is enough, and thankfully there are a ton of BCBS in-network providers in Houston. *Highest allowable rates with insurance. Kelsey follow-up $328; at Houston Methodist $183 This is what hits your deductible Constant rescheduling of appointments! Weee already waiting three months to get in; the week of, they call and push the appointment out another month Physicians were told their benefit package was “too generous” and were stripped away of a week of PTO Always fighting with insurance companies and threatening to go out of network.
Kelsey in the Amazon of medicine now. Choose a more engaged provider that cares about your health and not forced by their organization...
