Horrible and embarrassing experience with their security guard. No one else was able to watch my 11 month old so I had no choice but to take her with me. I never thought it would be a problem since the mask order is not required for children 10 years and younger, but as soon as I walked in, the security guard started yelling at me saying that I couldn't bring my child inside without a mask. Y'all want some reasonable whole-in-the-wall Mexican street food? Then, follow La Moreliana. They are all over of Houston. I am here mostly for food at taqueria, although it really is a grocery store. If you like menudo on weekends, it's best to call ahead. They ran out Sunday afternoon, most of time. So don't waste time drive here and be disappointed.

The cashier may not speak English but taqueria lady speaks well enough. The rule to order food, you have to pay for it before eating. You'll see the warning sign in both English and Spanish...

CUIDADO CUÁNDO COMPREN ARTÍCULOS PESADOS POR LA LIBRA. Pasé a comprar unas alitas marinadas y un paquete de salchicha para asar marca Eckrich que usualmente vale $5 y centavos en Walmart pero aquí en esta tienda cuando lo pesaron en la carnicería la pesa marcó que pesaba 3.5lbs aproximadamente cuando el paquete original de fabrica dice que pesa 2.63LBS. ¿Cómo es posible que pese una libra más? Y por tanto el precio a pagar salía a $9 y centavos casi al doble del precio al mercado por una supuesta libra de más nada más. Lo único bueno que he de decir que la comida de la taquería es de buen sabor. MAS TENGAN MUCHO CUIDADO CUÁNDO COMPREN POR LIBRA. Hablé con la cajera y le expliqué el asunto. Pesó el paquete en su pesa a la par de la caja y pesaba la libra de más igual que en la carnicería. Ella nada más me preguntó si lo iba a querer y no me ofreció más explicación del porqué de la libra demás. ¡MUCHO CUIDADO!

I stopped by to purchase some marinated chicken wings and Eckrich sausage. The pack of 2.63lb costs $5 and cents at Walmart but at this place when they weighed the pack it supposedly weighed 3.5lbs in its original factory sealed package that CLEARLY READS 2.63LBS and they wanted to charge $9 and cents plus tax which is clearly double the price. The only good I have to say about them is that their cooked food tastes good. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING BY THE POUND BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
