I'd leave 0 stars if possible. I rarely write review, but this one is extremely necessary. I first went there in the summer of this year for my first pregnancy. I would like to say that the front desk people are friendly, however, this particular clinic is very unorganized and unreliable. I went to 3 different appointments there and saw 3 different doctors each time! At the first visit, I was seen by a doctor in training I suppose because she was young, nervous, and her supervisor had to be there to observe her checking my lady parts out...very awkward having multiple people there. Being my first pregnancy, I was confused, so I asked the 3rd doctor at my 3rd visit if she was the one who would be delivering my baby and she said no that I would meet my delivery doctor at my next appointment scheduled for Sept. 11. Well, they call me a few days before my appointment to let me know that my delivery doctor won't be in on my appointment date so they wanted me to reschedule with a backup doctor. NO THANK YOU. I was not about to see a 4th doctor during my 4th visit. That is just ridiculous. They are very inconsistent. I switched doctors mid September and she needed my blood work and other medical records from this place so I called in late September, emailed the doctor, and nothing. I called and called and was constantly put on hold or got an answering machine. I left a voicemail for what it feels like the 100th time and they FINALLY faxed my paperwork to my new doctor. (and it's now December, so it took them almost 3 months to...
Read moreI never feel like it's anything other than a cattle call. Check in staff have been rude, disrespectful and not knowledgeable about basics like insurance and co pays. They have delayed check in so badly that we have missed appointments and they Tried to make us reschedule. The residents are afraid to treat anything remotely complex, so you end up wasting time. Don't go for more than one issue, even if they are connected. A very minor issue, fine. But I only use them to meet the requirements of my insurance companies guidelines to get the referals to specialists that make the plans and follow through. You're going to spend a lot of time on the phone with this group. Really disappointed.
If you do have to private pay, or pay a percentage for your appointment they have you put a down payment down, like $125, then they decide what the whole fee will be, but you are given no idea. And you get to find out the amount and pay again on the way out. I understand procedures are extra, but for a cold, or ear infection?
I really just wanted them to be awesome. My Physician of over 8 years was trained here and served us in Austin. Now we drive back to...
Read moreThe Medical Director at Physicians at Sugar Creek should be reviewed carefully for her position at the clinic. My story: Once I complained to her about a doctor I was under his care, and who did not know how to fully remove 8 stitches from my arm, she got very defensive over the phone without hearing all the facts, then same day blocked access to doctors directory on the clinic website. Later, she chose to cancel my care at the clinic, because I complained of another doctor she referred me to replace the first doctor, of making false medical claims to me, that were absolutely false. This Lindsay is running a false group of doctors, who once challenged, goes and cancel the patients treatment. She cancelled me to keep me from going to another doctor in the clinic and share with them my bad experience with the 2 doctors she managed. Memorial Hermann should review Dr Lindsay group of doctors and what false statements, malpractice they are performing...
