UPDATE TO MY REVIEW - I WILL BE RETURNING I want to thank Ms. Kim for reaching out to me regarding my post about being dissatisfied with the service I received the last couple of times I went to get my nails done. I went in today and a tech did an excellent job redoing my nails (see picture with glitter nails). I'm so impress with not only the job the tech did but with the kindness and compassion Ms. Kim showed towards me. In my opinion this is a business that cares about doing things right and when something is not right they want to make it right. Nowadays that can be a rarity with business because some business owners don't care about how the customer feels because they just want the money. I WANT TO THANK MS. KIM AND THE STAFF. I WILL BE RETURNING TO GET MY NAILS DONE ON A REGULAR BASIS LIKE BEFORE AND THAT IS WHY I CHANGED MY RATIMG TO FIVE STARS (1) they addressed the problem and (2) they fixed it. They respect me as a customer ant that goes a long way in my book. ———————————————————————- Today was my last day getting my nails done at Nails of America. I’ve been going there off and on from over a year. The shop is very clean shop and Ms. Kim, who runs the shop, is amazing but the quality of the work has not been good for a while. One time a tech applied shellac without putting on a base coat and in a day or so the shellac started peeling off. When I called Ms. Kim she told me to come back so they can fix it and they did. Earlier this week I got my nails done, it had been a few months since I had come in and this time another tech did extremely sloppy work (see pictures). I called Ms. Kim and she told me to come back to get them fixed at no charge. Once again I went in and they fixed them and the job was mediocre (see pictures). I really tried to hang in there with the shop because of the cleanliness and good customer service. But for the cost of the services it is not worth going to a place where the work is now mediocre. I will say ā€œI appreciate Ms. Kim and her efforts to try to make things rightā€, if it was not for her I would have stopped going there a long time ago.

I have been coming to Nails of America, Heights for over a year now, and I am consistently impressed with the level of service and quality they provide. For me, my nails are more than just a beauty routine—they’re a way to express myself. I’m known for having classic and stylish nails, and this salon has delivered every single time. One of the things I truly appreciate is how Bonnie, the receptionist, always greets me by name the moment I walk through the door. It’s such a warm and personal touch that makes me feel valued and welcomed every time I visit. I also love their warranty-type service, where if something happens to your nails within the first week, you can come back and get it fixed for free. This is such a great perk because sometimes the color starts to fade from the tips, and when this happens, I can just stop in to get it touched up—no questions asked. Their wide range of colors makes it easy to find the perfect shade for any mood or occasion. The pricing is reasonable, and the drink options—from mimosas to green tea—add a luxurious touch to the experience. The only con I’ve encountered is the Ć  la carte pricing structure. Services like cut-downs, shaping, or adding an additional color are charged separately. While I understand the flexibility this offers, I do wish they would consider offering package pricing so clients know upfront exactly what they’re paying. Overall, I highly recommend Nails of America, Heights to anyone looking for a reliable, welcoming, and stylish nail salon. It’s a place where you can relax, enjoy great service, and walk out feeling polished—literally!

I have been a costumer of Nails of America since they opened their location in the Heights. I have had nothing but good experiences there and today was as excellent as always. I’ve been growing my nails and I usually get acrylic, which Brian is the best at it in my opinion. Today I decided to take them off and use my real nails which if you know the pain of that can be traumatic or overwhelming since the process can be tedious. Today Mrs. Kim was my technician and she did such an amazing and painless job at removing my acrylics. No pain!! I decided on shellac and my nails look amazing. She is really good at what she does. So glad she was my tech today. Also for pedicures, Nikolai (I’m sorry if I’m spelling it wrong)he is the best at providing this service. Customer service is great at this business and so glad is part of our neighborhood.

WARNING ! DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE !!!! Ive been coming here for two years and ive never had a problem at all. Ive gotten to know the employees to where they greet me by name when entering. On 7/11/25 I came to get serviced. While leaving I ran into Harley who just did my nails and a young lady. The young lady stopped me and asked do I get services here I told her yes they are great Harley does my nails. She went on about an altercation she had inside about how she was mistreated. Shocked I told her I’ve never had a problem at all and had been coming for two years. She was very upset and was going about what she experienced. I was trying to bridge the gap of the language barrier of understanding both sides. But once she mentioned something about a gun. I told her it was not worth it! But im also looking out for my safety so I left considering Harley was standing right there and heard everything that was said and also had a phone in her hand . I came back on 7/16/25 to get services again had no issues everything was fine. Well today 7/26/25 I can to get services and I’m being told I’m no longer welcomed due to the altercation on 7/11/26 stating I amped the young lady up. The lady at the front seemed shocked herself because she knows me and stated she would call the manager. First she told me Harley said she didn’t feel comfortable servicing me and she was the one who said I amped the girl up even though she just serviced me last week and I didn’t request her it was her choice. To The manager stating that there is video footage of me talking to her which I did in front of the employee Harley and that there’s also a voice recording of me saying things to amp her up. But can’t tell me what I said or what was said not that I care because I know my character. I have seen customer be so disrespectful to these girls and I have stepped him and defended them everytime I’ve seen it. But I’m not about to put my life at risk which I guess is what they wanted me to do. Even after the incident I came back and got serviced again ! The young lady was African American and so am I so I can’t help but to think there is a race motive. I feel embarrassed because I’m being told this while other customers are coming in looking at me like I’m this type of person and hurt to see this is how I’ve been treated after spending so much money here I’ve always been nice to everyone I always tipped and I’ve never had a problem. To now this I could even get the decency of a conversation from the manager myself after being a loyal customer ! Even if I could come back I would never want to! I recommend this place to everyone I know but I will tell you don’t spend your money here at all !!!

UPDATE since they want to lie ! That lady has a gun and was already heading down the stairs with Harley back into the establishment before running into me ! Due to the nature of my career and character I would never encourage anyone to cause physical or verbal violence! But because yall see two black women talking yall assume we are together!?! I’ve stepped in to defend yall from getting verbally attacked but now I send someone with a gun ? Then to come back and get serviced again not even a week later ! That don’t even make sense so save the lies! Can’t wait to speak to...
