HOUSE HOTEL — Hotel in Houston

I Just Checked Out Of This Hotel. I Stayed Here For Two Nights. On Yesterday, The Front Desk Clerk Didn’t Do Check Out Calls Until Around 11:30-12 Noon. So This Morning He Called Around 11:03 So I Said You Guys Called At Noon Yesterday. I Was Not Rude Nor Did I Have An Attitude I Was Just Simply Trying To Get Clarification On The Check Out Time. The Man Immediately Becomes Disrespectful & Begins To Yell Through The Phone Ma’am I Called At 11 yesterday Im Not Going To Argue With You Etc. So I Said It’s Okay You Don’t Have To Argue And I Hung Up. About 10 Minutes Later I Went Down To Pay For A Third Night. He Says “No” So We Exchanged Words I Told Him He Could Call The Police Or I Could Call Myself. So I Proceeded To Call The Police For My Own Records & Safety . He Was Very Belligerent & Aggressive. Not Only That…While I Was Waiting For My Ride Or The Police To Arrive, He Cut All The Power In My Room. None Of The Lights, The Air Conditioner, We’re No Longer Working. Mind You I’ve Already Spent $150 Staying Here Two Days. I Have Video Footage Of The Power Not Working And I Have Police Record Of Me Calling. Since This Has Happened I Will Be Taking The Furtherest Legal Action I Can Possibly Take Against Him Personally As Well As The Overall Business. This Man Is Clearly Unfit To Run A Business And Deal With People On A Professional Level. It’s Okay To Refuse My Business Even Though He Only Did That To Try To Prove A Point. But To Intentionally Cut The Power In My Room Is...

Room was as expected, looks exactly like the photos and the bathroom was pretty. The walls are really thin and I could hear the rooms next to us arguing and they slammed their doors really loud. I stayed there for about 10 nights and housekeeping would clean my room but not change the sheets, I noticed cause me and my spouse ate and made a little mess and we left to go get Starbucks and housekeeping came & we noticed the dirty sheets were still dirty and housekeeping just decided to make up the bed instead of giving us new linens & comforters. There was always people outside at night just standing around & it made me feel very uncomfortable. The owners hired some workers to pressure wash the concrete floors just outside the rooms, I was on the second floor & the hired workers while cleaning the floors cleaned the air conditioner unit connected to our room and made some type of alarm go off in my room and I had to call the front desk to come take care of it. I had to leave so the front desk could solve that issue. As I went to my car to leave it was parked outside underneath my room (second floor) where I could keep an eye on it and since the workers pressure washed the concrete on the second floor all that dirt went on my entire car and I had to go get...

FOR STARTERS FORGET THE 1 STAR GIVEN TO HOUSE HOTEL IN THIS REVIEW, IF THERE WAS AN OPPORTUNITY I WOULD'VE GIVEN THEM A ZERO! GOOGLE HELPED LEAD ME TO HOUSE HOTEL BASES OFF THE PRICES & NICE SURROUNDINGS. I WAS MET BY A MALE THAT WAS OLDER AT THE OFFICE REGISTER STATION WHEN I GOT THERE. I WAS OFFERED WHEN THE MALE WANTED TO OVERCHARGE FOR THE ROOM BY $20.00 DUE TO HIS IGNORANCE OF THINKING MY RELATIVES THAT WERE MAKING SURE THAT MY ROOM WAS PROPERLY SETTLED WAS STAYING. I MENTIONED TO THE OFFICE PERSON THAT WASN'T THE SITUATION & THE MALE OVER TALKING & WASN'T PROCESSING WHAT WAS BEING SAID BY ME SEVERAL TIMES. I LEFT THEN FROM THE NONSENSE IN THE OFFICE FOR A RESTROOM BREAK & RETURNED. I RETURNED TO A LOCK OFFICE DOOR & A LARGE RIGHT WINDOW WERE I CAN LOOK THROUGH TO THE MALE THAT WAS LOOKING AT ME THROUGH THE SECURITY CAMERA WHILE SEATED & WASN'T GETTING UP TO HAVE THE OFFICE DOOR REOPEN. I KNOCKED ON THE LARGE OFFICE WINDOW TO KNOW WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM & WAS BEING FURTHER TO GET MISTREATED FOR NO REASON, I THEN MENTION IS THIS A "RACE THING" & THE MALE THEN REPLY "YES".
