Park Place Regional Library — Attraction in Houston

This is the only library I enjoyed going to because with each visit, I noticed how there's multiples of new books available, and the library has added a section just for teens to enjoy hanging out, studying, or read books that talks about everyday teens life. The place is usually quiet and the atmosphere is very calm. The reviews about this place dates 3 years ago, but at the year of 2014, it definitely has improved. If you're a parent looking for a nice library for your kids to expand their interests of varieties of books, this is the library for you. It's also neat and organized, dividing into sections of kids, teens, and adults books, which helps save time if you're in a rush to look for a good book to go and can easily go to which sections you preferred. I have been a member for about 3-4 years, starting from being a teen to a young adult. Another great thing about this library is the renewing your books after your 3 weeks are up! I don't have nothing bad to say about this branch of HPL

While other neighborhoods had their branch closed or Never had a branch to begin with the Park place branch still going strong

You can check books, get your passport.

I am in favor of locking the parking lot Parishioners of the Catholic church had been taking advantage of the library parking space and it is not like the library is picking on the church, because the other 2 churches nearby don't use the library parking lot

Before you point the finger. I go to the church and I like to be neutral on the parking issue and act like nothing...

I just left this library on Park Place @ 45. I went in there completely lost and clueless about how to print a return label from a purchase I made on line, and when I went inside I came across 2 of the most beautiful and helpful ladies I ever encountered ,they greeted me with a smile and made me feel the most important person in the building, these 2 angels were super helpful and Mrs. Maria Velez OMG, she went absolutely out of her way to help me print my label she was very patient and very sweet ,these 2 ladies are an absolute asset to this library ,God bless them, we need more more city employees like...
