I first want to start off by saying this store is for THRIFTERS, if you know what I mean. You have to find your treasures. It may not be organized by size, but it is organized by category, so be prepared to THRIFT. Honestly I love this thrift store. It is one of the best thrift stores in Houston. It's clean, it does not SMELL, it's color organized and they have new items as well as used items! The prices are great. Everyday there is some kind of a sale. I can't tell you how many times I have found countless deals at this store. I bought Practically new Size13(Hard to find) Lane Bryant boots originally $119 for $7 at this store š„° That's just one example.
Now with that being said, this store would have received five stars easily from me if it wasn't for:
1- Their employee staff. Employees are the face of the store. If your employees are not doing their job helping the customers, it's a problem. And their service is not professional or courteous. Even the employees tell me what their problems with management is,( which is not professional, I do not want to hear any internal or external problems that you may have). Also, the don't bother our stockers while they're restocking message that plays every 15 mins over the speakers is also very unprofessional. 2- If they had customer courtesy! The store closes at 7:00 most days. PLEASE BELIEVE IT closes at 7:00 like the registers are closed at 7:00 and you will not be able to purchase the items that you may have just spent 1 to 2 hours in there searching for, and the manager will make sure that everyone knows that you will not be checked out after 7:00 p.m. and it's not in a professional manner. Don't come 30 minutes to close of the store! I think they stop ppl 20 minutes before closing from entering the store. They will turn you away! 3- If it wasn't cash only. Cash only isn't that bad, but the ATM upcharge is criminal ( Get your cash before you come) 4- If they didn't have a no price sticker rule. If you find clothes or any items in the store that does not have a sticker on it, they will not sell it to you. Even if you bring it to the cash register they will take it from you and they will keep it to reprice for the next day. Even if you really want to buy it, they will not sell it to you!
Now with that being said they will always have a customer in me because I like those deals and I like the treasures but if they would fix the professionalism in the store and close later like 8 or 9( like other thrift stores). It would be a great customer experience for all who come to the store. So let's say if I did find another store that was the same as this one but they had better professionalism. I would drop red and white thrift store like a hot cast iron pot off of the stove due to their unprofessionalism.
I only left this review because I saw some mixed opinions and very bad reviews, but this store is by far one of the best thrift stores. If you love to thrift, you must have the thrill of the thrift in you in order to enjoy this thrift store to the fullest.
Ps. Thrift stores generally do not have fitting rooms. That's pretty much only Goodwill and they do that to compensate their crazy prices that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRW&BTS is the greatest thrift, second hand Store, that you can find in Houston. I have been shopping in Goodwill locations, Texas Thrift Centers, and Family Thrift Centers for more than 20 years, but, when I found out about this fabulous Store, I learned that the Pricing System they utilize doesn't compare with the ones used in those other Stores mentioned above.
They have a 25%, 50%, and 75% Discount System, rotated every day with different colors tags. There are two spacial days in which the 2 colors are 75% Discount, 1 color is 50%, 1 color is 25%,, and 2 colors full price. Those days are Wednesdays and Sundays. They open every day, and you need to bring CASH all the time. No Checks or Credit or Debit Card are received.
The great variety, quality and volume of products is amazing, and the tag prices are not inflated. On the contrary, are even lesser than those from the other stores. That means that the discounts are real and effective, and represent huge real savings on the products you ever buy.
You can find clothes of the most famous designers for the whole family, in all sizes, furniture, jewelry, watches, perfumes, tennis and sport shoes, dress leather shoes, and everything you may need for your home.
For the great experience that I have had in more than 8 months, I recommend this store to anybody interested in second hand products at the more discounted prices you could find. Just stop by on the next Wednesday or Sunday and see for yourself the reality of everything that I have written here, and I am sure that you will be, as I am, a loyal and weekly customer for life.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first visit to this thrift store was great they have great merchandise and its super clean. However on our second trip my sister found a beutiful vintage rocking chair that she wanted to purchase, she was told in the front to ask someone with a blue vest to take it up to the front. When one employee walked past us we asked him for help but he didnt speak english so my sister asked him in spanish. He told us to wait and he never came back after waiting for almost 10 mins. We ended up taking it to the front ourselves and placed it out of the way with the other furniture that was being held up there, the employee at the register took the sticker and asked if we were still gonna shop then we could pay for it when we get our other things. We looked around for about 20 mins and when we got up to the registers to pay we noticed the chair had been placed in a large bin. My sister was all of the sudden charged a lower price for it then what the sticker said. She paid and went to pull her truck around to the front while i waited with the chair. Another customer looking at the chair let me know that the bottom part of the rocking chair was broken , but when we brought it up to the front it was not broken it was sturdy and just fine. Im guessing it broke when it was placed in that bin. When i told the employee that took the sticker she was rude and said thats why she gave her a cheaper price for the chair but she never let my sister know that the chair was now broken. My sister was able to get her money back but its unprofessional to handle merchaindise that way especially when it was spoken...
