I could not have imagined a better place to hold our wedding! The venue was cozy enough to be intimate and the gardens were spacious and gorgeous, perfect for the ceremony and pictures. Anne was a doll to work with and so easy to talk to. Don't be alarmed that the courtyard isn't covered - you can have a tent top put in place in the event of rain or cold weather which is what we needed and it was STILL absolutely beautiful. River Oaks Garden Club met and exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The best part is that it was so much more affordable than most venues in the area, especially since we had less than a hundred guests for our wedding. I was supposed to attend a wedding here but the couple was locked out on their wedding day with zero explanations. We waited almost an hour, hoping that perhaps the staff was running late and that someone would answer our calls and emails but unfortunately no one ever responded; much less helped us find a solution. Extremely disappointing, unprofessional and sketchy! They offered no actual answer as to why they didn't hold up their end of the agreement, never gave a heads up to the couple nor did they offer to make things right after having ruined their special day.
