Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn this pedestrian oriented development, they haven't really created an environment that people want to hang out and walk around in... and it shows: this is not a lively place. The retail spine of the development is basically all unfriendly concrete (parking lot). The rebrand and it's apparent enhancements have not helped bring in more people: I seriously doubt adding a valet lane at Eddie V's nor adding some cheap token outdoor furniture that already looks tired on top of its cheap cartoony looking astroturf with obvious seams is going to make a difference. The new owners need to think a lot harder about the retail heart of the development: it will probably need a total overhaul removing a lot of the surface parking so it isn't so dominant (maybe some parallel spots instead?), adding trees/plants, and adding seating areas that have actually been thought out. I'm surprised Eddie V's has no outdoor seating... Pondicherry is the only noticeably active spot (guess what? there's nicely scaled little planters on the broad sidewalk all around that outdoor seating area and FEW...
