Texas Treasures — Attraction in Houston

Texas Treasure is the worst store I have ever been to in my life and the workers there treat it as if it is their private property and they deal with other nationalities in a racist way. Today, 01/07/2025 I visited the store with my 5-year-old daughter to buy souvenirs for the family and I am wearing the hijab. I noticed since I entered the laughter, disdain and mockery of the workers with me, but I did not pay much attention to the matter. However, I could not shop comfortably because of the racist looks and mockery of the workers. Suddenly, my daughter wanted to buy candy, and while she was trying to take it, some candy fell, so one of the workers came and nervously and angrily shouted at me, “You have to pay for all the broken candy.” She started examining the candy and re-examining it. She did that 3 times hoping to find a broken candy, and when she did not find it, she took only three candy pieces with a slight crack that I think was there before and shouted, “Pay for it.” I told them, “My daughter is young and did not do that on purpose. I apologize.” But she dealt with me in a rude and angry manner and with all racism just because I am of another nationality or religion. The price of the sweets and I threw them away. I do not want to take them, but this is the last time I enter a bad store like this. It is truly an offensive store to America as a whole, not just to the mall. Immediately after leaving the store, my daughter had a panic attack and cried. They caused her shock as a child with their bad treatment. I will take official measures and file a complaint...
