HomeGoods — Attraction in Huntington Beach

First time shopping at this store. Heard lots about it so thought I'd give it a try. Wish I hadn't!!! Found an item in the marked-down section -- a torn up box of doggie bags that were obviously torn into, with bags missing from it. I thought that obviously this is a sale item because it's been tampered with and the box is ripped in half. I brought it to the front, along with a few other items, ready to see what the dog bags would be marked down to. Well, Michelle the Supervisor refused to take anything off of the RETAIL price!!! She said there's no proof that the box was missing bags -- even though she could clearly see the box was broken into and ripped in half. Clearly there were bags missing. She still refused to mark it down at all -- not even a measly 10% (50c). It's the principle. She made a BAD DECISION and I won't be coming back. Told her I'd give the store and herself a bad review, she didn't care. BAD BUSINESS!!!! DEFINITELY NOT A DILIGENT SUPERVISOR AND NOT A GOOD DECISION MAKER. I give Michelle a ZERO. ...

This is the first time I've been into a HomeGoods store and I love it. It's a lot nicer a lot cleaner and a lot more merchandise in the store specifically for things that you're looking for. Compared to Marshalls or Ross they have a lot of stuff there. I was there the day before I had to come back the next day and there was actually some new merchandise out that I didn't see that day before. If you're looking for kitchen utensils, pots and pans, they have everything there. Everything is priced fair and worth it. I was looking for sheets for a full size bed they were a little low on selection but that's probably just because we just came out of the holidays. I won't hold them at fault for that I'm sure over time things will get restocked. But I guarantee if you're looking for anything for your bedroom your kitchen or just little trinkets to decorate your home they have everything there. Even the restroom was nice and clean.
