World Market — Attraction in Huntington Beach

I had a disappointing experience at World Market recently. After winning a coupon in the Golden Unicorn competition, the store manager, Lisa Johnson, accused us of cheating in front of everyone, using a disrespectful and condescending tone. We had already turned in the golden unicorn and received our coupon with no problem. When we went to use the coupon, all of a sudden there was a problem. This was an unjust and humiliating experience. I expected better customer service and a simple apology, but received none. It's crucial for businesses to maintain customer satisfaction and respect, which was clearly lacking here. The Golden Unicorn competition is suppose to be fun and exciting, nobody has the time or energy to go out of their way to cheat, and you shouldn't accuse anyone of doing so without proof. Finally found them right under Bed Bath & Beyond between Bed Bath Beyond and REI. Boy, I think I have passed the store all the time if I don't pay attention to the sidewalk.

Lots of great stuff and amazing selections of Asian snacks - the good ones - all the way in the back of the stores. The furniture price is actually fair and the quality looks pretty good, feels like better than Ikea. I might give it a try next time. By the way ,quite a few wine and pasta selections.

This is my go-to spot for wine. They carry New Age which has become my personal favorite. They also have a very good assortment of ethnic foods, furniture, diningware, candles/soaps, and a small selection of clothing and accessories. This is really a 5-star store in terms of what it carries but all of the young men who work here are SO condescending and rude.
