Update: Have been to this location several times with my service dog - on my last visit (10/5/24 about 2:15 pm) after being seated and while waitress was greeting us, what I assume was the manager (she wore no name tag or apron) approached our table and told me "I'm sorry there are no dogs allowed" in a super rude manner. I told her my dog was an ADA service dog, she ignored what I said and started telling me that they weren't allowed, they had problems with dogs, they got on booths and tables. I interrupted her tirade and asked her if my dog had done any of those things or anything else inappropriate, I again told her my dog was an ADA service dog, had traveled around the world with me and was absolutely not getting on the booth or table. She was absolutely hostile towards us, giving me a nasty look even while I was saying that! I should add that my dog was sitting quietly on his personal mat I bring with us, under the table - both before and during her tirade. She did not apologize, she did not smile, did not say anything else and she simply turned and walked away from the table. I was totally shaken by her approaching me that way, it was offensive and ridiculous. People at the tables across from us were now staring. I am almost positive that her absolutely inappropriate, unprofessional behavior was due to the appearance of my musician friend that was with me who is unconventional looking, heavily tattooed, with brightly colored hair. I have been to this location several times with my dog and have never had any host, server or manager say anything negative about my dog or treat me so rudely. I honestly wanted to immediately leave but my friend had driven 2 hours to join me, we had already waited to be seated and he was starving. So, I ended up staying but was so upset that I was shaking for the first 20 minutes. I have traveled for 20 years now with service dogs and I have only been treated so poorly by a restaurant employee a handful of times - and those were many, many years ago. It is standard practice for a restaurant to sometimes ASK if my dog is a service animal, it is absolutely not standard for a manager to approach us at our table and say "sorry, no dogs allowed" before even asking if it's a service dog!! Our bill was 108.00 plus tip. The manager that ruined our visit never acknowledged us again, never apologized, when we left and walked right past her at the podium, she never even looked up. Honestly, a restaurant where an iced tea, piece of cheesecake and a cheeseburger costs over 50.00 for one person should be more selective in choosing a d training more professional management staff for their establishment. It's 2024 and having a service dog in your restaurant is a daily occurrence at most chain restaurants - they should know how to politely inquire about it if they are unsure, rather than demean the customer and make them feel embarrassed and uncomfortable! I want to make sure and add that our waitress and the gentleman that assisted in dropping off our food were both wonderful, professional, friendly and efficient. The food we ordered arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. It's unfortunate that our visit was spoiled from the beginning due to the behavior of the manager.
Original Review: Fast service, friendly and knowledgeable servers and hosts, clean restaurant, nice food presentation. Dog friendly, with indoor seating even! Really delicious food and cheesecake. I recommend the pineapple upside down cheesecake. Portions aren't very big (but the prices are) - small handful of fries with a regular sized cheeseburger. If you're hungry, you won't be wasting food or taking anything home with you.
I took a star off because the atmosphere is basically a Denny's with high ceilings. Lots of tables and booths crammed together in the space with lots of background chatter noise. It's a big chain restaurant in a shopping mall with a family friendly vibe so that is to be expected. Overall, it's a nice, easy tasty place to go for lunch if you want somewhere a bit nicer than a local...
Read moreTLDR; Waited 45 min after reservation time to be seated (party of 6) Carlos argued with us about this. The server went on break, and the covering server forgot to bring our food. When we asked about the food, he brought it to the table. It was all cold. Jillian was nice and apologetic.
My family and I had a reservation at 5 pm. We got there at 5 and checked in with the hostess. 30 min later, we asked about the eta for the table. Carlos proceeded to argue with us regarding the reservation time and number of guests. It was very unprofessional and not appreciated. About 15 minutes after Carlos wanted to argue about our reservations and make us question if we still wanted to eat at this restraunt, we were sat.
Once we were sat our waitress was very nice and we ordered. She brought out our appetizer and introduced us to Long (or Juan, it was loud in there and he had no name tag) and said he would be taking care of us since she was going on a break. About 20 min or so after this, so about 30 min or so after ordering, we asked Long if he knew how much longer the food would be. He went to go check and came back with two dishes.
Both were ice cold. He then returned with 3 more. Those were cold, too. The 6th entree came out, and it was hot, like you would expect, except everyone else's food was a range of luke warm to cold. We informed our waitress, who had returned from her break and came to the table when Long brought our parties last entree, that most of the entrees were cold and that we wanted to speak with a manager.
Jillian came over and was very apologetic and insisted on bringing back one entree hot. We had a show to be at and did not have time to send back all of the warm/cold food, so we ate faster than is comfortable so we would not be late. She comped the warm/cold food and apologized again.
Given how professional and nice Jillian was, we may consider visiting this Cheesecake Factory one more time, but it will probably be a while. We typically like to dine at establishments that appreciate our business and provide good service from beginning to end. Usually, Cheesecake Factories meet that standard. Unfortunately, this time, the experience fell far below the standard we have come to expect from the...
Read moreI think I’ve frequented this Cheesecake Factory location the most. It’s right by where I live so it’s very convenient! That and their food is the best - both my son and my husband love their food.
I’ve never had any issues with this location. I’ve always been seated right away despite them being located within an outdoor mall. The service has always been pretty good as well. I’ve never had to wait long to place an order or to request anything from the waiters.
My absolute favorite menu item is the Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta. I’ve actually tried looking up a copycat recipe of it but there’s just so many steps, it’s easier to just go to the Cheesecake Factory and order it. My husband and I are huge fans of their Crispy fried cheese as well. My husband loves anything with loads of cheese in it and there’s plenty of it in their fried cheese! Cheesecake Factory is also one of my sons favorite restaurants also, he loves their mac and cheese. And in all honesty, it does look pretty good when he orders it. Very cheesy! Different than the regular Kraft mac and cheese that most restaurants serve.
For desserts I usually get the White chocolate raspberry cheesecake. But honestly anything from their TWO pages worth of cheesecakes have been pretty good from what I’ve tried.
When it comes to drinks if you’re looking for something non-alcoholic I’d highly suggest their strawberry lemonade. It’s very sweet with just the right amount of sour. For alcoholic beverages I really like the Georgia Peach. I could sit there all day drinking those! Very peachy and I love any drink that’s fruity.
They also bring fresh bread to the table. I personally love the brown bread, I could eat that all day. Another thing to mention is their portions are pretty large. It’s usually enough to feed two.
Its easy to get lost in their menu since it’s like 20 pages long but I haven’t really had anything from their menu that disappointed me. It’s just that the pasta is my all time favorite so that’s what I usually go for.
5 stars for delicious food and...
