Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Huntsville — Attraction in Huntsville

I really can't complain. Great price breakfast and a pool .If I wanted to be picky when I made the reservation they told me I would have a couch. They said it would not be a pull out couch. It was not a couch it was a chair and uncomfortable for my teenage son to sleep in. Standard king sized bed. We fit 4 people on it. 3 in hole In blanket that was hidden under decorative throw. Was concerned the ac wouldn't work but it worked perfectly fine at night out freezed us out which I like. Kids loved the pool . Broken chairs in Bushes behind the fence was an eye sore. The shower was clean it had great water pressure thin towels soap shampoo but no conditioner. Breakfast was small choice waffles coffee fruit frozen egg patties cereal biscut, waffle batter was sweet but the dispenser took long time to fill the cup, the attendant was there at 3pm still there at 6am when we checked out he was very friendly and quick to respond to out requests. 4 out of 4 children said they will not stay there again (ungrateful brats) lol should have made them sleep in the van... This place is totally worn out and nasty. The toilet is a prison cell exterior plumbing no lid unit. The bathroom sink was shattered and patched with a yellowish epoxy. The toilet paper dispenser hole was broken, so the toilet paper sits on the counter top. The door security hasp was broken. The light bulbs were ancient compact fluorescents. The smoke detector appeared inoperative as the battery backup door was ajar and not closable. The table was so loose at the base that it wobbled needing to be propped up against the wall. The wiring for the flat screen and cable box were all exposed and hanging across the wall and cabinet top. The elevator inspection certificate was expired since 2/2024, and smells rank. The light over the exterior of room door was flickering like a scary movie. The control panel door on the HVAC wall unit was missing, and the air flow slats were broken and ajar. The coffee machine decaf option was inoperable, and there were no cups, only lids. There were dark hairballs in the bath tub. Other than all this, a great place to stay...
