Pickens Sweet Treats - Candy Shop — Local services in Independence

Such a sweet little shop. We love their chocolates! It's hard to pick a favorite, but the clusters are delightful. Definitely recommend you go try their treats!

I just wanted to say these ladies are the sweetest!! Not only did they make a custom order of 15 assorted 4 counted boxes of chocolates with just 24 hour notice, but they also boxed it up and made it look beautiful, free of charge. I also picked up a few extra 4 count boxes of chocolate covered peanuts, while were picking up our custom order. They were accidentally mislabeled and were actually almonds (which we also love) and they replaced the mislabeled almonds for peanuts and even gave us some for free to make up for it.

Purchased a dessert bar. I didn't watch as it was packed. When I finally got a chance to eat it later in the evening, a large chunk was missing from the top, and it was an overcooked (very dark edges and bottom) corner piece. I was hard to chew. For the amount being charged for these, I am surprised this is what was served to me. I had high hopes, but I don't think I want to spend that much on a second try. The reviews here are great, I just didn't receive the quality of product everyone...

My friends and I discovered this gem while we were walking around the Independence Square. We walked in and were greeted by the two sisters who own the Candy Shop.
