I'd recommend staying out of the Independence, Mo store. I experienced the worst customer service, never been in a situation where a manager gets involved and it continues to escalate. Here's the highlights from this poor customer service experience on 12/26/2003.
I hope the District Manager or Store Owner would speak with each of the individuals listed to obtain the details of this event, and provide necessary training to improve their customer service interactions. Read moreMy experience was fine. But, yiu have a young man working the register at the Independence Missouri store who has no business working retail or talking to customers. A customer next to me was upset he had misquoted a price of a jersey. She kept saying, yiu said it was $135, he would argue and say “I said it was $175, and she would reply same as before, $135. Your employee then told your customer, “ well I’m telling you $175 now!”
The customer about came unglued, the woman waiting on me just shrugged her shoulders to the customer. Finally some other guy who was at front door came over to assist, no apologies, no We are sorry for mistake, no nothing from him. And then he stepped to other register for a customer and had the original employee finish her sale. Again no I’m sorry we apologize, nothing!!! The doofas employee had a weird looking shirt patch beard on his chin, and his hair was horribly greasy and disgusting. How he was allowed to work in public is beyond me. Read moreThey aren't helpful current staff is lazy and rude. They do not take the time to make sure to get your email correct and or your email receipts. I've bought over 1k of merchandise in the Las 2 weeks. Now I don't have a receipts for any of it. Now cause of them not doing there jobs correctly. They say call corporate. When I shouldn't have to go through all of that if they just did there job correctly. So I can't return/change out a size for a bigger size. I have to go threw a gambit of days maybe weeks to get anything done. Yet I get take this survey for shopping there. But no email receipts. Don't even know what this survey came for, what purchase? I've only made 20 of them. To find out I have no reciept for anything. Only my account stating I purchased from the store. What a a joke. Only in Independence. Kids and drunk managers.
