I’ve been to this establishment 3 times. I’ve worked at a skating rink when I was younger so this review might be a little bias. So I’ll start with the good. It seems like a pretty clean establishment. Which is pretty important. That’s about all I have for the good. Now for the bad, the music is not my cup of tea. They don’t play anything I know. All they are playing is R&B music and most of it doesn’t even have any lyrics. That’s what they are mainly playing on adult night. Which there’s nothing wrong with playing a little R&B but it would be nice if they mixed it up a little and play something everyone is familiar with. Of course I understand they are trying to cater to the majority. I’ve came once in the afternoon and the music wasn’t too bad. They at least had some variety. Now this is my biggest problem with this place. There’s no floor guard. I understand you don’t want to upset people, but on the other hand you can’t have a bunch of people skating in the wrong direction and balling and weaving out of traffic. I’ve seen some people get seriously injured doing that. Plus it’s not fair to people who are casually skating or just not that experience. If they want to do some tricks I.e. skate backwards or some other things, I don’t think that’s a problem. But it’s kind of rude to be cutting people off. If your looking to get a little skating in I recommend coming on a slow week night and bring a pair...
Read moreThe music is SO LOUD. Like blowing the speakers so it doesnt even sound good loud. You dont need to blast out everyone's eardrums for them to enjoy music...except maybe you do since 90% of what was played was awful. Cool spot otherwise. Super busy on a saturday night. Would think they'd lower the lights at night but they were on full blast. Maybe for the best though. Would be harder to see all the small children sprawled on the floor if it was darker in there. They have these "skate mate" things for small children to help steady them while skating. Picture a walker but on wheels. Since there are wheels and no brake it actually is more of a weapon than a form of stability. When a child loses their balance they fall along with this walker, taking down everyone in a 3 foot radius. Some kids that dont need them use them anyway and fly around the rink with this shield on wheels. I also saw some kids pushing it across the rink to their friends. Just passing it back and forth to each other knocking out anyone in the way. They probably need more employees skating around and watching for all of this. The one guy out there was too busy showing off his skating moves to pay attention to what was going on. Also the food was gross but what would you expect from a skating rink? Overcooked cardboard pizza is probably the norm. It was fun. I'd go back, but only on an...
Read moremanagement is absolutely lazy and bad. one of the managers Gary was no help at all, takes his sweet time for everything and does not do anything at all as i was trying to get help from him. please do not come here unless you only plan on skating and not eating or drinking. but please don't support this low-life business. I seen you copied and pasted your responses but i never worked there, but I came yesterday to skate and Gary was supposed to be helping me and he did not. I have never worked for you nor will I ever, after your employees already talk about how bad you, Billy, ik that's you, and the rest of your management team treat them every single day and how it gets worse and worse. You guys are really sick, i see majority of your staff are minors or young adults, and i hear you guys cursing at them and arguing with them this time i came and the last 2 times i came about 2 and 3 months ago, respectively.
Also, Jaylin and Robert are great employees. I didn't see Robert yesterday but Jaylin was there and she was more helpful than anybody on that team could be. I don't know what went down with them or if it involved anybody else but I know that it had to be false and based off what employees and former employees tell me every time i went there, it had...
