However, a word of caution: if you plan on purchasing any large furniture or items that are difficult to access, be prepared to handle the retrieval yourself. Fortunately, I managed to convince two friends to help me on separate days at the shop. We had to extract everything from the vendor's booth ourselves, including a two-piece china cabinet weighing around 400 pounds and a large pub table with eight chairs. The task would have been much easier if the items had been ready for us in an easily accessible area, but having to dig them out from the very back corner of the warehouse was the hardest part. When we asked for assistance, one employee explained that providing help with retrieving items wasn't part of their service—they simply place a sold tag on the merchandise, and the rest is up to you.
It's hard to imagine how an elderly person or someone unable to lift heavy objects would manage if they desired a large or upstairs item. Definitely come prepared with help.
It would be beneficial if the store could employ helpers to assist with moving large items at least a couple of days a week, perhaps letting customers know that help is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and that tipping the movers is appreciated.
