From the couple times I've eaten here, I've seen people stand at the counter and get ignored or people trying to order an item without an ingredient and the cashier be passive aggressive and tell them that they can't do that. From my experience, I've noticed when you eat in, the portions are great but if you order to go, the portions are not as great. I ordered a bibimbap bowl to go and I had almost no protein at all in my bowl. I called and was told to bring it back and they'd make me a new one. When I got there, instead, the cashier began to lecture me and almost yelling that that's how much meat always comes with it and they can't do anything about it and management tells them how to portion, etc. I tried to explain that I've eaten here several times and its never been this low and I didn't want to make a scene about this. She responds by having a Spanish speaking staff (since I am Hispanic and I believe the assumption was that I would drop it if someone told me in Spanish, I didn't appreciate that either) tell me the same and had me wait for a new one to "show me" that's how it is. I continued to explain that I didn't want to continue to make a scene and I just wanted to leave but they continued to "show me" that I am wrong and adding less meat is a management call. I spent half an hour here for an unnecessary public argument that I kept trying to deescalate.

I used to avidly recommend this place and bring my colleagues here but I will no longer be doing so....

I got a hot stone bowl bibimbap and tteokbokki. I did go in the evening early January, so maybe I might’ve just been unlucky with my set of orders. Service was not bad.

Bibimbap: Tons of toppings The rice was way too moist; too much water was added

Banchan (sides given with bibimbap): Kimchi tasted good, but not the best Fish cakes dish was a bit too [hard] chewy

Tteokbokki: Good flavor and consistency of sauce Rice cakes were on the harder side of chewy. I’ve had plenty of tteokbokki before and I know they’re supposed to be tender and just a little chewy. The fish cakes were also on the hardened side

I did bring have leftovers and remade the tteokbokki the following day (remade on a pan). The rice cakes and the fish cakes did soften up and had the consistency of what’s expected of a tteokbokki dish.

Overall, not the best. I might not order these dishes again, but I might give the place a second chance given that it’s fairly new. Plus, there’s not a lot of Korean places near me and this one’s one of...

This is my second time eating here. I enjoy their big portions. Personally, I would split a meal with someone else since I can’t ever finish it all by myself. Last time I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and split it with my husband. We both enjoyed it a lot and were pretty full.

This time I ordered the Soon Tofu Ramen with Kimchi and my friend ordered the Vegetable Soon Tofu Soup. We ordered the hottest spice and it was pretty good and super filling. My friend is vegan so it’s nice that there are options for her to choose from. The side dishes aren’t my favorite. The kimchi isn’t very fermented, the beans sprouts didn’t really have any taste to them, and the other side dish was over seasoned in the sauce.

But the overall food was good. I enjoy coming here and indulging in some Korean food....
