Kevin Jewelers Irvine Spectrum — Attraction in Irvine

I purchased a ring from here for my wedding. Tried it on a couple times but left it in a box for about 6 months waiting for the ceremony. ONE WEEK after the wedding a third of the ring broke off and separated completely from the base, making the ring uncomfortable because it would pinch my finger and look cheap. (This was not a cheap ring). Because of this, I called the store by Costa Mesa trying to get it resolved and was told that I could “go to any store in person and they’ll resolve my issue free of charge.” Well while I was in Irvine spectrum I stopped by and asked them to repair or replace it, I was told, “$50 to send it to the vendor” after asking some questions trying to get more than a single sentence from the salesman I was told that the policy I signed and was told about for the warranty of my ring I purchased was void because they “changed their warranty policy a little while ago… sorry about that. It’s $50.” Since there was no reasoning with him, I made sure that the other items I purchased from the store in mission Viejo still has their warranty, which it did. After the wishy washy customer service and inconsistent policies I would rather buy a ring from Amazon and expect better quality and much better customer service.

It was really unexpected purchase we made from Kevin Jewelers when we went inside the shop to just browse for a certain item we didn’t realised that they will assist us right away and someone approached us “the gentleman/s” we forgot their names but they are very accommodating, and helpful. while we are looking at the brochure there was a lady came out of the door and greeted us with a warmly welcome smile she was the “manager named Joanne” very friendly, pleasant and accommodating to their customers. She helped us all the way until we get what we wanted. This is our first time to this shop but we left the store so happy and contented of what we purchased from them. Fyi not all jewelry shops have a very accommodating staff/ manager like the Kevin Jewelers have. If you are looking for a certain jewerly, watches etc you will not leave this place with a smile 😊 and for sure to recommend them to other friends and family members too. I’ve been looking for a bangle bracelet for years. I usually walk through any jewelry store knowing what I like and leaving not seeing anything I want. I asked your sales lady who was very nice to see a lovely bangle bracelet. Imagine my disappointment when I was told I can only see the bracelet through the glass because I don’t possess a California identification. I’m home visiting family from Maryland. I have a Maryland identification. I’m now being refused service for the first time in my life! How are you supposed to see if said bracelet fits your wrist?!?? I’ve set aside money for said bracelet and was ready to pull out my credit card for something I liked and wanted.

My advice: Change your policy. It’s called tourism. Hire security. Get a high quality door lock. Refusing service to tourists doesn’t seem like the best business plan. Last I checked, jewelry sales aren’t...
