Dear Manager/Deli Supervisor
I’m writing to express my serious disappointment with the quality of service and product I’ve been receiving from your deli department, specifically regarding the slicing of meats. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and competency, especially when it comes to how the products are prepared.
On multiple occasions, I’ve asked for very thinly sliced meat—which is a common and clear request in any deli—and each time, the result has been subpar. The meat is either sliced too thick or unevenly, which completely undermines the quality of the product. This is not only frustrating but also unacceptable.
To be clear: "very thinly sliced" means paper-thin, almost translucent slices that maintain consistency across the entire batch. This level of precision requires a proper understanding of both the equipment and the customer’s expectations. It’s clear that some members of your team are either not properly trained on this or lack the necessary skills to execute it correctly.
I’m paying for both the product and the service, and this issue needs to be addressed immediately. The deli staff must be properly trained to understand the difference between basic slicing and the “very thinly sliced” standard. This is a fundamental skill in the deli industry, and I should not have to settle for anything less.
I expect this matter to be taken seriously, and I’d appreciate confirmation that appropriate training is being provided to ensure that customers like myself are getting the...
Read moreThe woman at the deli, cut me some Great Lake cheese. When I got home the cheese was literally falling apart. She knew the cheese was like that, but she sold it to me anyway. I took it back to get a refund. I didn't have the original packaging because I put the cheese in a zip lock bag because I was going to keep it. Then I thought about it, and thought to myself, why would I spend my hard earned money on an inferior product. To make a long story short, I approached her, and she became annoyed because I brought the product back unnecessarily. She went to talk to another lady, and told me I had to wait for her. She finally comes after a few minutes. She gave me back the refund. I asked the deli lady if she knew the cheese was like that when she was cutting it. She became very defensive, and avoided the question, and said she didn't want to talk about this etc... I told her that she shouldn't sell customers' that. She said its just cheese, and walked away. I said i was trying to help her, but all she said disrespectfully walking away, what ever, what ever, what ever. That's why I m writing this post because this is unacceptable behavior for a per to act in a customer...
Read moreDO NOT GROCERY SHOP AT SUPREMO!!! I just went grocery shopping at this store. Prior to going there, I went to the dollar tree next door to buy a few items. The dollar tree doesn’t offer grocery bags so I placed the items I purchased into my tote/hand bag. When I got to Supremo, the items were sealed in my hand bag. After I finished with my grocery shopping at Supremo, I went to the cashier and paid for my items including a shopping bag. Then I added my items I had already purchased from dollar tree into the shopping bag I purchased from Supremo. The cashier, who was very rude goes on to accuse me wrongfully. I explained to her that I purchased the items from the dollar tree. I even showed her my receipt. She still accused me wrongfully and told the security man to check my bags. The security man is another rude employee. He goes on to ask for my receipt from the dollar tree. After he saw my receipt which proved my innocence, he was still questioning me!!!! Do not shop at this grocery store if you do not want to be accused wrongfully by unruly employees!!!!I will never 👎 grocery shop at this store again!!!! And would give them a ZERO star if that option...
