I cannot say enough about the expertise and customer service at System Addicts! I was researching a security system for my Rubicon 392 and, at first, Jay spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining all the available options. He then suggested that I come down to the shop where he felt it best that I see the various products in person and where we could discuss things in greater detail. Our whole interaction was conducted in a professional manner, discussing the pros and cons of each option. I was allowed to choose exactly what system I wanted in my own time without any high-pressured salesmanship. It was so relaxed that I felt I could even walk out without purchasing anything and it would have been okay with Jay.
Once we decided on a system, it was determined that Jay was going to need to write some custom software to meet our specific goals. That said, the vehicle would have to be at the shop for at least one full day as we didn't know what issues may pop up due to the rewrite and we didn't want to add the pressure of a time constraint. We wanted to be sure to get the job right the first time. Jay totally worked around my schedule ensuring that I wouldn't be inconvenienced more than necessary. Sure enough, Jay finished the job on time, and the security system worked perfectly. Not to mention the respect that he showed my vehicle. It was practically ripped apart inside but you couldn't tell that it was even worked on. Not even a single fingerprint or smudge on the windshield or dashboard. I have done my fair share of installs, and I know the work involved; especially one with a scope this extensive.
When it was time to pick up my vehicle, Jay stayed way past closing time demonstrating the system and explaining everything in great detail. He wanted to be sure that I fully understood everything. While doing this, I pointed out to Jay that some of the original factory systems were not operating properly. This is quite common with Jeeps and all of their onboard factory computers and CANBUS systems. It is well known in the Jeep community that they do not like to be messed with. Sometimes it just takes 24 hours for everything to reset as some over the air updates may be needed to reboot some systems. Regardless, Jay assured me that if things didn't fully come back online, all I needed to do was to bring the Jeep back and he would do whatever was needed to make it right. Even if that meant removing everything and starting over from scratch. Before leaving, he made sure that I had his cell number in case I ran into any issues afterwards. I was instructed to call anytime with any questions or concerns without hesitation.
UPDATE: Once the car was driven and had a chance to reconnect to its network, within 24 hours all factory systems came back online and returned to normal with full functionality. It has been over three months and not a single issue or glitch has come up.
All in all, it was not an inexpensive project. As I always say: "Good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good". However, when you factor in that you are trying to protect something that you own that is also attractive to thieves, the fact that you are getting a custom system tailor made for you, and all the time and attention that went into the project, it turns out to be a tremendous value. Anyone could have just thrown in any generic system and let me be on my way. Instead, Jay listened to my needs, put in a lot of thought, and came up with a comprehensive solution. Now, I rest easier knowing that my vehicle is protected in a much better if not the best way possible with what is currently available on today's market, especially since I hear more and more how 392s are disappearing. I also feel confident that I can call Jay anytime with any question and the customer support will be there.
I cannot recommend Jay and System Addicts enough! Trust me, you will not be...

Lets see, i bought a viper alarm system and i went to their face book page to find out how much it would cost to install the system. I made sure i included the specific model of the alarm. The model of the car and its year. I was quoted $89 to install it.One week later i go in to have the alarm installed and they used the typical "BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC" They told me it would cost $150 just to install it. I tried showing them proof of the quote of $89 that their customer service gave on face book but the would not honor it.
Eventually we agreed to pay it but my mom was a bit angry that they would do something like that. They installed it and we paid them but when we popped the hood we realized that they used back one of the old parts of my previous alarm and kept back one of the part that came with the new alarm.
My mom decided to ask back for it and she called the owner and she called him a fraud because he kept back the new part for himself. Instead of de escalating the situation he begun arguing with my mom getting close to her (both of them yelling) After i de escalated the situation the owner walked away and yelled "Oh And im not giving you any warranty for that car" When he clearly said in a review here that they give warranty and stand behind their work. Very nasty owner.
I will not be returning back to this place as they care only about money.
A few other points
They have signs all over saying: All sales or final No refunds No return If your car gets damaged its not their fault If stuff goes missing from your car its not their fault and the list goes on. That says a lot about the company actually.
I know the owner might try to respond to this review but you were wrong and unprofessional dude.
I give credit where its due but i wont be recommending anyone to go to this place look further. The provide crappy customer service and only care about $$$$$$. Keep being like that and watch how long your...
Read moreSystem Addicts are true professionals and simply awesome to work with. I came in with a 2003 Dodge truck with a very complicated alarm setup involving multiple bypasses, input sources, and immobilization methods. There were at least 4 “brains” (black boxes with ports and PCBs inside) that I wanted to talk to each other: we’re talking aftermarket push button start, passive keyless entry, 3G-enabled GPS tracking and monitoring, biometric authentication, and a digital keypad on the windshield on top of a 7000 series Compustar unit at the core of it all. I like my gadgets, clearly, but when I came in these things weren’t talking to each other and there was a parasitic current leak that was draining the battery every couple of weeks. Maj, the owner, besides being a super friendly and nice guy, was very patient with my crazy visions and actually sat down and dug into the product manuals (most of which were written in very broken English), examined the wiring, and was able to make sense of it. These guys poured a ton of hours into not so much of an install as much as it was figuring out 3 of 4 prior installs and troubleshooting them, which is exponentially more difficult. In my line of work, this would be the equivalent of operating on a patient who has had multiple previous undocumented, unsuccessful procedures that have yielded a constellation of puzzling complications. Any shop can do a simple straightforward “virgin” install, but it takes true experts to know what to do with a complex setup for which there is no install manual to follow. I am lucky to have found System Addicts and will continue to trust them with all of my security, audio, and general automotive...
