The view is insane!!! The food ... not so much. The menu is sooo limited. This place could be amazing but the menu has to change. The service was at a snail’s pace and the waitress (who was very nice) had no clue of anything on the menu. The seafood soup just plain and the ramen noodle had no flavor. There is not much to choose from for your main course. There is one steak on the menu and it’s a ribeye. Now I like ribeye steak but anyone who doesn’t like a marble or fatty steak is out of luck. Need to put a New York strip or a filet on menu for people who don’t like a lot of fat. I had the lamb sandwich which was actually very good but not that much meat. My wife had the lobster roll which tasted like a gigantic piece of black licorice. It was awful. Need to lay off the tarragon. If you like celery and black licorice this is the sandwich for you. There was also no specials which was odd. The view is amazing and bread, potato chips, and pickled vegetables that come with sandwich were good. Fix up menu and I will go back, if not I will just go to buffet in Aquatopia which was...
Read moreThe view from Kartrites is amazing and almost worth the visit just for the view. Also our waiter was very attentive and pleasant to engage with. My wife and I had a reservation for 2 with a requested table at the window, upon our arrival we were told all of the window tables were for 4 people or more reservations, for the duration of the meal the 4 seat table by the window sat empty which was really disappointing, don't take the reservation if you are unable to accommodate. Now for the food, the French onion soup is delicious no complaints. The wild mushroom soup was mediocre and lacking in seasoning. The New York strip was cooked perfectly by a temperature standard but was grossly under seasoned. The pasta with Burrata cheese and heirloom tomatoes was disappointing. Perfect amount of garlic but not much else going on. We loved the concept of the Kartrites but the food just didn't deliver...
