Overall it could be a fantastic park. There are several large play structures scattered about with slides and climbers for all ages. Benches are also placed conveniently around the play areas. Several swings are available but the infant swings are located directly over a fire ant mound. There seems to be some plumbing issues as both the water fountains and sink in the restroom had low/no pressure and the handle/faucet in the mens room is loose.

In summer, the trees provide intermittent shade and in winter the sunspots provide respite from the cold. There are regular Runners and walkers; we recognize and greet each other. We all get along and feel safe. Every aspect of the park from the tennis courts to the AARP workout equipment is routinely used.
