El Centro Grill — Restaurant in Jackson

Good food and nice service, but unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the dishonest management. After dinner at El Centro, there was a technical problem with the electronic payment system, which caused a double payment of our check. Normally this would be no problem to me as such, when correctly reimbursed. But as we were travelling, I only noticed this double payment 2 days later, being already far out of town. When contacting the staff, initially they seemed cooperative, but when they discovered we were European tourists, the communication (on facebook/telephone) became rigid and they gave us everytime new excuses for not having reimbursed the double payment (just $20!!). It was only after 3 months, when I told the El Centro management that I would take this case a step further, by asking my family living near Jackson to report this theft to the police, that suddenly the refunding seemed to be a piece of cake! (I received the reimbursement 2 days after this message on my bank account) and suddenly there were excuses for the delay of THREE MONTHS!! I call this dishonest management and will never go back...

This is the new fun, hip Mexican restaurant to be at! The outdoor area was beautiful and lively. I cannot wait until the weather cools down to have my margarita on the balcony or patio. We ordered so many different dishes, I cannot name them all, but I will say this...none of us had one bad dish. Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned and full of flavor. If you like freshly fried stuffed dolce de leche churros, look no further, they got em! Now this, this I want to mention. If you're on keto or low carb diet, they will replace your tortilla (made in house and pressed) with lettuce. Yup, they sure will.

My coworkers and I went to El Centro Grill for lunch yesterday. There were only two people in the front one at the register and one waitress. We told the waitress that we only had a limited amount of time for lunch and she said ok. The service was horrible. There was things floating in the water and hair found in the tortilla chips. We also waited over an hour to get our food which we were about to cancel but they kept saying the food was about to come out.
