Espling Jewelers — Attraction in Jacksonville Beach

Went in to get a few links removed from my watch. My card was stolen the day before so all i had was Apple Pay. The gentleman (I believe the owner or manager) was very helpful! He tried setting up his square payment method for me he also tried sending an invoice as well. The invoice wouldn’t work with Apple Pay so we tried the square but it wasn’t quite set up yet. The gentleman eventually just said consider it a Christmas gift! THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME! As soon as I walked through the door everyone greeted me in a very friendly manner and let me know someone would be there to help ASAP. The man was very nice and had a great sense of humor. Remember I didn’t pay a single dollar and he treated me like I was the biggest spender in his store. That says a lot Ab the character of this business and all of his employees. I walked into Espling in Jacksonville Beach recently to drop off a 35+ yr old Seiko watch for repair. Terry greeted me and immediately made me feel comfortable with his friendliness, competency & attention to detail.

I also wanted to look at a possible gift for my daughter’s birthday. Terry explained what types of jewelry were in the various cases and showed me several pieces. I decided on one and Terry cleaned it before packaging it into a nice gift box & bag.

I then saw a couple of new Seiko watches that caught my eye. Terry showed them to me and discussed the features of both. He was very attentive but never pushy. I didn’t need another watch but wound up buying the watch anyway. Terry even gave me 20% off!

I have a beautiful 100-year-old watch that my Dad gave me when he taught me to tell time in 1959. The mechanical part can no longer be fixed - for lack of parts. I took the watch to Ben at Espling Jewlers where he worked on it and trouble shot it over a period of 2 months. I had no idea fitting the quartz movement, the hands & the stem were so complicated.
