I was physically assaulted by the flea market management. This flea market management seems more like a bunch of gangster's and doesn't a appear to have any concern for the safety of the sellers and shoppers
Today I rented a booth at the flea market for 4 days to get rid of a bunch of tools etc that I haven't used it years so I figured to just get rid of it all I showed up at 8 am and started selling my stuff. Around 10 am a large very rough looking guy came to my tables and asking if I knew who had parked their car in a area near me and then proceeded to yell and swear saying he was very upset about it and left. I thought he was a seller that was suppose to have that parking spot. At noon two guys showed up wanting to rent the space that was a covid buffer area and several of us told them we had tried to rent it but were told it was not for rent do to rule to protect buyers and sellers from coivd exposure and they responded say they have a friend in the office Within minutes they were setting up the table that the flea market referred to as a buffer table Ten minutes later the big loud and rude guy showed up to my space and accused me of moving the buffer table and using it in my space and I pointed out they had rented out the buffer space and table and there it was then I asked who he was he told me he was the owner of the flea market and the storage business so I offered to show him my receipt and contract and turned towards my truck to get it He picked up my table threw it screaming at me and sending all my tools and equipment all over and breaking many things and sending paint all over me one of my customers and my truck I called the Jacksonville Sheriffs and they came out and didn't want to get involved and escorted me off the property and refused to let me file a complaint. Many people were shocked and took pictures and videos of the whole thing and offered their phone numbers stated they had never witnessed such a thing and they felt something should be done one women even called the Sheriffs on her own afraid of what...
Read moreLoved everything but wouldn't buy anything from the washer machine/dryer guy, i went looking for something to replace my washer at a budget, i seen this guy near the northwest corner with a bunch of "fixed" washers and dryers, we talked and he talked me into buying one of his washers. worst decision ever... He gave me a 60 day warranty, I took it home and tried it, it would not finish a single cycle, it would spin nonstop without draining the water tangling horribly my clothes, and it leaked water so my floor got swollen and half destroyed before i knew it, and caused a short on the laundry room killing the power to that, and the kitchen and almost setting my house on fire... Here's the kicker tho, when i took it back to him he said it wasn't his, I had HIS receipt with HIS signature and the date of purchase was right on the machine, but he ran me this whole story about he had to check his logbook to make sure the number on the machine was there, of course he didn't have it with him, and that was gonna take a whole day to look up. I live in another state 3 hours away from this place i can't just go home and turn right back around the next day, he would not trade it for another one to get me by, he would not take the broken one back, and when i mention something about a refund he told me in his own words, "i don't do refunds you can forget about that" On top of that when i finally gave up trying to rationalize with this guy, i just packed the broken washer back in my truck, and started to leave i glanced back, and he was looking in my direction laughing (yes laughing... Seriously) so it was a hard learned lesson. My advise to you, just save some more money and buy something economic from Lowe's or Home Depot, instead of thinking about getting some faulty "fixed" appliance at a...
Read moreI came to visit/take care of my folks from out of town and we went to the market. Shout out to MCB Outlet on row A!! I picked up a much needed camping pack and some sandbags in the dawn of hurricane Dorian. They have emergency food rations, supplies/books on surviving disasters, and other good stuff. The icing on the cake though is literally Vickie's Delicious Cakes and Pastries. Got me some hurricane comfort food with her out of this world homemade Strawberry Shortcake!! Y'all... I call myself saving it for later but I finished that bad boy before I got to the end of their row and went back to get another!!! There are 4-5 semi indoor rows of knick knacks of all kinds, unique gift ideas, toys, collectibles, cultural clothing and accessories, spiritual items, new and 2nd hand clothes and products. Has a few good eateries but STEER CLEAR of the bathrooms.... whilst they are kept fairly decent for outdoor facilities, the stalls are way too small to be used by non-contorsionsts and the smell... Let's just say FL is too dern hot and humid in the summer to not be using aromatics!! Can you say plugins?! Other than that I could (and did) stay the WHOLE day...
