Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Short version: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Long version: I normally would not eat at Pizza Hut, but my 92-year-old father requested it, so we phoned in an order from this location, which is the closest to his house. They estimated delivery in 30-40 minutes. After 45-50 minutes, it had not arrived, so I called them. They put me on a long hold, and when someone finally answered, they said "Pizza Hut, please hold" and were gone before I could speak. I called back twice before finally getting to talk to someone - now almost an hour after we ordered. They said my order was "just taken out of the oven" and would be delivered "soon." Having learned not to trust them, I said to hold it, I would come get it. When I arrived, I had to wait for the idiot behind the counter to get off a long phone call. Then they could not find my pizza! They didn't apologize or offer any explanation. All they could offer was to cook another one, which they said would be done in 7 minutes. After 10 minutes (now 1.5 HOURS after my order), I still had no pizza, but my father called to say our pizza had been delivered. To add insult to injury, when we finally sat down to eat the pizza, it was truly awful. I called later and demanded a full refund, which the manager agreed to. I would like to start by saying that we are loyal Pizza Hut customers.

JASON who is the GM gave us the the WORSE SERVICE.

Our food was hot and tasted fine. We hosted a small gathering at our house. Everyone who ate the 3 pizza got sick and had the Stomach Aches. This was the only food that we served.

When I called and spoke Jason. He mentioned the only thing I can do for you is remake the out food and we needed to give him the food that already eaten back hours later after recovering.

If Pizza Hut messes up in the past. A credit or refund is issued without a problem. Jason assumed I was lying when he mentioned "No one else has gotten sick and our food is made fresh. Thats all I can do for you."

I responded "Thats what you're willing to do not you're able to do" He then hung up one me. I called back immediately being put on hold.

There hasn't been any resolving this issue. At this point it isn't about the $28. Its about the fact the leadership in this store cares more about ego than making sure their customers are satisfied.

In this economic climate you'd think business are willing to ensure customers are A) Ok with their food and service. B) That their clients are not going return and bring more business back.

If this store is a franchise I truly feel bad for the ownership that their employees are costing them business...

Absolutely makes the best pizza out of all pizzas here in Jacksonville, Florida. After ordering for six years from this location today for some reason, we ended up going to the store didn’t realize that’s where our favorite delivery driver is located. His name is Marvin. Incredible guy. awesome to deal with and has been delivering to us for six years. The awesome service that we have received over this time. It’s completely incredible and Astonishing. Also, Dee Was very professional polite and made sure that our order was 100% correct and was very thorough to make sure we had everything we needed before we left doublecheck and opened all the boxes! Jamihal and Nikki were also there when I had arrived. They had like 12 orders on the board and they got those orders out of there so fast it was amazing if you are in Jacksonville, Florida, and want to expert experience the best pizza I would recommend this Pizza Hut for you if I can give them more than five stars would!!! Amazing job to this crew at the store. I would also must ask where is Brittany? She had served there for several years. Kind of like one of the faces of the store. Amazing service wherever she is.
