Hair Gallery — Attraction in Jacksonville

My first visit to the salon was disappointing. I have long thick course curly hair. It is alwsys deficult to find someone that knows how to cut and color my hair. I had both done when I went. The reason I only gave two stars is because I was pleased with the cut but not the color. The color was lighter than I generly have and it did not completly cover my gray. I pointed it out to the stylist before I left and her response was that we would do the color dufferently next time. I felt that I should of not got that kind of response to my complaint. I also made a point when I sat in the chair to show pictures of me and how my hair generly looks. I wad also charged 100.00 more than I was told when I made the appointment. I made a point to find out what I would be charged with a full color with highlights and cut and style. I told her my hair type was long and and thick with curl. The women that made my appointment was unsure she said what the charge woukd be because she was new. I then asked if she could please find out before I secured my appointment She then went and spoke to the stylist and came back and gave the price to me that I thought was reasonalble. She give me a base price and said it would be an addional 10.00 for each additonal bowl of color that was used. I was happy with the price It was the price that I had paid at other salons. I was shocked to find it to be a 100.00 more than what I was told over the phone. I would not guess my hair took 10 addtional bowls to make up the addtional 100.00 that I was charged. I would reccomend the stylist to give a price to there clients prior to the service, exspecially when it is more than what was orriginally said to the...

I can’t speak to the quality of their styles and skills, but I can review their professionalism while trying to schedule an appointment. From the time I first got an appointment, there were issues. They called me the next day (when my appt was supposed to be) and asked to confirm my appointment on the following day...when I was told the day before that my appointment was the following day. Then, an hour before my second scheduled appointment time they called me and asked me to move my appointment to the next day because the person who scheduled me was brand new and only put me down for a 30 minute time slot and they could not accommodate what services I asked for. It was not worth it to me to go through with an appointment here while I couldn’t even trust that I would get service when I was told and that I would possibly be with a brand new, inexperienced stylist. They did offer a discount, but I was worried that would be to make up for a Lack of experience. Also, for prospective customers who have thicker, more textured hair, almost all of the pictures I could find of past clients were only of people with thin...

Horrible horrible experience. I am out of state and was recommended this place. Needed to get my hair bleached/ have my blonde blended in more with my root color. I had given the lady a reference picture of what hair I wanted/ have had before done on my hair so I knew that it would have been possible on my hair ... I was reassured that she can do it and that she is really good at doing blondes and that I have nothing to worry about..... but boy was I in for a surprise... the lady was more interested in telling me how dry my ends were and how they need to be cut (even tho I had also scheduled for a trim) she was pulling and riping my hair while drying it and took way to long on everything making me late for a different appointment (because she got to my appointment 45min late ) and when she was done I looked like a zebra to say I was upset was the biggest understatement ever .
