After 24+ years Patrice Johnson at Lakewood Promenade salon lofts is the ONLY woman I will ever ever trust with my hair. She listens, she gets you what you want to perfection, she will not push her own agenda on you, and it is one of the best experiences of the three times I’ve been there! Even at FYEOU know who I mean they even said “I forgot curly hair shrinks when it dries” try out Groupon they come back-and-forth but always go to Patrice Johnson at the Lakewood Promenade. It’s right there on the corner of San Jose and university. The place is amazing you walk in there’s a screen with all of your names as well as the hairstylist and you click on it each room is see-through but you have your own private area or nobody hears what you’re talking about and Patrice Johnson makes it all about you. As it should be. Not to say she is stuffy, she is amazing! Never will you go in, say what you want, and leave what a hair stylist though SHE wanted! Your Groupon queen (Tipping like there is no discount and your worth!) Crystal will continue to see you all over and over and over again, even if the Groupon‘s are hit and miss or never again! I have recommended you to so many people including online websites for people who are looking for a wonderful place to go with someone who is actually willing to listen to what they want. And Patrice Johnson is that one and only person out there and Jacksonville. The space is cute. But - we went to Kristalle at Neighborhood Beauty Nails, and it was a DISASTER. I bought a Groupon for a Classic Mani/Pedi, and there was NOTHING classic about her service. I bought a 2nd Groupon for my daughter, as a gift, and even she (at 5 years old) could not figure out why her pedicure did not include anything but a polish! (But mom, she didn't even wash my feet!).

Kristalle does her "classic mani/pedi" completely dry. It included a nail trim, file and paint. There was no attention to either of our cuticles, no trimming or cleaning of the nail bed, only trim, file, paint. The same for the pedicure. Completely dry - no water, no nothing. Trim, file, paint. Over 2 hours for this service for 2 people.

I had clearly communicated that I brought my daughter to get her nails cleaned up by a professional, and Kristalle said "I don't do that". She thought she was being generous putting lotion on the tops (only) of our feet at the end... you didn't clean my feet, and now you smear lotion on the top of my dirty feet? That's filthy and gross!!
