Will never shop there again. Walked in with a Father's Day gift(hedge trimmer that was too heavy for me to use) I was hoping to return. The rude, miserable, unfriendly woman behind the counter eyed us up all the way into to store while she was checking out another customer. We were standing two stations from her and I said I'd like to return this. She snapped "we don't do returns" my wife said "ok then we'd like to do an exchange" can you order something less heavy? No, when did you buy it?, last week., do you have a valid receipt? Bottomline here was our choice... keep it and never use it or exchange for in store credit that we HAD less than 1 hour to shop because we needed to spend the instore credit that same day...it was 8:00pm and they closed at 9:00. Ridiculous policy! Not one person told my wife there was such a restrictive exchange policy. This store in an outlet mall that is 1 1/2 hour from our home. This business will see any of my $ anytime again not will I...

Some of the pricing is the same as home depot but the difference is the tools are new from Home depot n not blemish or reconditioned. And there return policy sucks. Bought a ridged driver set and when u use it sounds like your cutting wood not drilling. Why would u want to exchange it for the exact same issue. Never heard of a store not refunding your money if your not happy with the product. Most places it customer satisfaction is what is important but not with Direct tool outlet. So buyer beware of their return policy...

Horrible customer service! I purchased three of the SAME type of product over 18 months and had a problem with the third one purchased recently. Ryobi changed a mechanism in that product that now causes the newer model to underperform. I drove all the way from Madison after I was told By phone thatI could get store Credit.
