This is a negative review. I don't want anything other than management aware of what seems to be a poor choice by one or more people. Thus the 5 star but negative review. I Love Kroger. Every place and everyone can always do better including me. This past week the weekly ad on the top of the front page listed colossal shrimp at $6.99 a pound in a 2 lb. bag. That's awesome if you could truly get it at that price. I went in 5 days during this week to get some. Each day I was told we ordered more and it should be in tomorrow. I continued to see an empty space on the shelf with nice sign displaying this really great price. Today is the last day of the sale and I asked the woman who I believe is the seafood department manger if they ever got any of those shrimp. She told me yes but they just put them on the counter where you buy individual fish and other seafood by the pound. I don't know if it was the same price or more. I was never once given or told about that option. Not a good advertising or retail practice. If they are going to choose not to sell as advertised, first don't advertise it that way. If you and your store are going to choose to do your own thing and ignore corporate, at least put a sign out and tell the public. That way they don't keep making the trip every day only to be frustrated when they find out there really wasn't a...
Read moreI moved to Jonesboro in 2016 and seeing the old to new Krogers transformation was breathtaking. It doubled in size and had more variety than I expected. Let's start with Annette who works in the kitchen department section of Krogers; she has been my guide and a mom to what to purchase for my kitchen. Going from a microwave college kid to a grown adult cooking chef meals. She informed me on whisks, knives, food savers, mason jars, and other tools. She showed me the variety of dinnerware I can get for my dining table. It started with seasonal decor dinnerware I needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a great investment. You will love Annette because she has love and passion into helping you create your dream kitchen with quality items. Another area I love is the cheese section. In my dining room; I have wall art of Tuscany ,Italy. They are known for good cheese and I am happy to have that world class experience at Krogers. Mediterranean, Gouda, Blueberry, and the crackers are amazing. The floral department is great at what they'll do. I was going in for a spring and summer look. They informed on flower care and how they add a calming beauty to your space. Overall I love Krogers Marketplace. There are many areas I can discuss. Krogers know how to treat their customers and I am happy I am...
Read moreWent to the customer service desk because I was having a problem getting the app to register. Old woman named Cathrine at the customer service desk snatched my phone out of my hand without permission and when I asked for her to just show me what I needed to do she said “I’ve been doing this a long time I know what I’m doing, call this number I can’t help you” when I went to walk away she said “YOURE WELCOME” in the most condescending tone as if I’m going to thank her for treating me like garbage. Walked into the coke aisle across from the desk and asked an employee to get a manager. She then yelled at me from across the aisle making other customers stare “don’t worry I’ll call the manager for you!” Spoke with the manager who was apologetic but didn’t go speak to her or remove her he just walked away. Every time I had to pass the desk this woman is shooting me death flares. After two weeks and multiple complaint cases to customer service I still don’t have a resolution to this. I have never been so mortified in my life. Failure across the board...
