Franklin Dock — Attraction in Juneau

Low stars only because the threshold is low for a cruise ship dock. What I liked was the amazing manner in which the wonders of Alaska were relatively at your fingertips.

In all ports, except Whittier, most of the opportunities to venture into the actual port city were in easy walking distance.

Not sure how I can rave about a dock. It held the cruise ship we arrived on long enough for us to leave and come back. Seemed sturdy enough. As docks go I think it is a very good one. The landslide where our ship docked was rather scary and made walking to and from the ship impossible. The town was lovely and easy to get around. I bought a cool ring that changes color in the light and the jeweler was very flattering about my blue eyes. Juneau was a fun town. I cut loose and had an adult drink.
