Our furniture took a total of 6 months to deliver When it arrived, our table base was broken and a piece was delivered that we did not order Upon asking for updates for the replacement table base, emails to Benji at Casual Living went ignored and unanswered (an entire month passed between my last response from Benji and when the replacement arrived) When Casual Living promptly emailed for payment, the balance they quoted for was $250 MORE than it should have been. Thankfully we checked the receipt Greg refused to wear a mask around elderly customers inside the shop
EDIT: As the business has since responded, I'd like to clear up a few errors that they claimed to be "100% true". Our order was place in 4/16, and our undamaged table base arrived 10/21. That would be 6 months. Since we were waiting on a table base, the table itself could not be used while waiting for the replacement. Quite frustrating, and not quite "completing the order" that would be implied by citing the 7/28 delivery. The transaction took 6 months to finalize. As for Benji, the only reason Brittany took over is because I personally reached out to her after being ghosted by Benji. Please review your records to confirm that to be "100% true".
And a final reminder to anyone who shops here, please check your final bill. Who knows how many "freight/shipping charge miscalculations" have slipped...
Read moreBuyers beware!! On September 10, 2024, we spent more than $4,000 for a balcony height patio table with 4 chairs, 2 gliders and a small side table. A combination of manufacturing deficiencies and quality control shortcomings from Casual Living Patio & Poolside, has resulted in at least 8 scheduled appointments over the past six months to replace bar stools that were originally delivered with the counter height table (try to get your knees under that!), to repair gliders that didn't glide anywhere near the way they did in the showroom, and to replace seat slats that had screws penetrating through two of the replaced chairs! Two weeks ago, we were told by a salesperson that the owner would be in touch with us to come by to go over our ongoing issue with the gliders. Un-surprisingly, we never heard from him! In our one and only in-store experience with the owner, after being advised by one of the employees that we might have replacement hardware for the gliders delivered within a week, we were admonished for expecting that to happen. "Nothing gets done that fast" was his only response. I can NEVER remember being treated so rudely by any of the big box stores and I hope you will consider this fair warning if you ever decide to take a chance at this store or any of the other...
Read moreOrders a patio set for my condo, was told 4-6 weeks. No communication was ever given. After 6 weeks several calls were made to shipping dept and no one answered or called back when messages were left. After 8 weeks, the set came in and then we were told it had to be put together & there was several people ahead of us. On the day of delivery we were scheduled 10-2, after 2 pm no show, again, we had to call, They delivered at 5:30 PM! Spoke to the owner who said he would REFUND THE SHIPPING CHARGE, which we thought was a stand-up thing to do. Going on two weeks now, I guess "the check is in the mail", for it never came. We try to help the little guy in business but clearly it's not the way to go. Stick with big box. FOLLOW UP: After this posted,the owner called me to say "I sent you a check but it came back to us since no condo # was put on it, I am mailing the check out again, you should receive it in a few days".
