Kannapolis Train Station — Attraction in Kannapolis

The Sation opens at 6:30 am ,The lady did not get there until 6:47am. I get people are late for work it happens so I was ok with it until when she does get there she takes forever to open the door..doesn't apologize ,then she just stares at me as she walks in and out the door a few times when she finally let me in the station it was 655 and she really didnt want to let me in I had to ask was I allowed in the station ,my train was leaving at 7:10 she didn't ask me if i needed anything..she didn't even say goodmorning. This is the worse experienceI ever had with Amtrak .I probably would never use Kannapolis station again when i get to my destination and on my way back I will check to see if i can switch to the...

Everyone is always very nice here, I travel back and forth to Raleigh quite a bit and have never had a bad experience. I do wish however that they didn’t lock their building doors between train times, that's kind of weird to me and inconvenient, especially when it’s raining and cold outside! The train itself is very pleasant and comfortable, the staff are cordial and accommodating, they have great snack machines and even a little cafe on the back of the train, and there’s lot more room on an Amtrak train than on a plane...

I’ve been traveling to Amtrak twice a month going north (To care for my sick daughter)and the staff at the Kannapolis Amtrak are very helpful very polite. Even when the train gets an a late ( over a hour) they will let you use the Restrooms.They will let you make a phone call and there’s a few times that I got in Late and the gentleman waited until my transportation came for me (preferred a taxi service to me) Thank you...
