Vendors are great. Alcohol bar is unreasonable. I can’t get a non-21 togo cup for my no alcohol sprite with mint and lime. Skinny Buddha and bistro tried to help and gave me a togo cup but too late. I gave the bar tender my sprite lime mint back already before the vendors gave me my cup. I told the bar tender this is unreasonable and you can drink it .. she said she would and threw it out while I was waiting on my pizza and very mad about paying $5+ tip to her for my no alcohol drink. She would not make another one after the vendors gave me (nicely) 2 sprite cups. I just didn’t want to appear to the police that I had pulled my sticker off a non-alcohol drink. And I had to get I. My car and drive. I add 1/2 water to my drink and usually make it last for 2 drinks. I’d like my $ back. But the bar tender just smirkilly smiled and did nothing. Very mad. Won’t be back. The girl with the frizzy hair bartender should be fired. I just got a plain sprite w water now. No lime no mint She was enjoying her small power.

A pretty mask over an overpriced, mediocre experience. Firstly the old bank looks great and I'm glad it wasn't just bulldozed. That's the only positive. Spent 15 minutes deciding what to eat and finally realized I wasn't getting out of here with my partner for less that $40. Settled on skinny buddah, 2 rice bowls one with chicken one with steak and 2 drinks $38.50 RIDICULOUS, especially considering the take out containers it comes in and the self service environment. I've paid half that at sit down restaurants, got service, and actually enjoyed my food. Not sure who ordered the banner signs showing famous bank robbers but Bonnie Parker is Bonnie of "Bonnie and clyde" so she makes two appearances on the wall. The rush job putting this place together shows in the details. Even little ones like that. The concept makes sense for kannapolis, cafeteria grab and go style place, however the mark was missed. Not even sure where the target was. Way too expensive for this old mill town.

Way overpriced and mediocre food at best. Got the burger and onion rings for $17 total. Only SIX little onion rings were a $2 up charge btw. Crazy. Ordered the burger with no pickles, but it tasted like they put them on and then took them off after realizing they shouldn't be on it. Ordered ice water for the drink and had to use a cup that was maybe twice the size of a shot glass. They said that's just how it is. Wife's order wasn't any better. She ordered the hibachi steak plate, cooked medium. For almost $20, she got a drink and overcooked hibachi steak jerky. She said the taste was good, but the steak reminded her of tough chewing gum. On top of all that, they have a tip jar on the counter so that you can tip them for taking your order and handing your food across the counter to you. 🤣 If you're going to blow $35+ for lunch for two in downtown Kannapolis, there are much better options. Don't get robbed at The Bank.

PSA!!!! BAD REVIEW INCOMING!!!!! My daughter and I decided to go to @downtownkannapolisinc to enjoy the afternoon and grab a bite to eat. With that being said, my daughter wanted to grab @saborlatinstreetgrill & I wanted to eat @thebankfoodhall for other options. We made our way into the food hall, and my daughter was stopped by a girl, who for one did not identify who she was and proceeded to tell my daughter no outside food is allowed… and to be clear…. There is one sign on the door stating that outside food is not allowed, but not even noticeable at all!! This was extremely embarrassing, and I as her mother was not even acknowledged! I was actually going to purchase food and sit down and eat with my daughter. This is very disappointing, as there are not many options to choose from in the food hall itself. They just lost my business as a returning customer & I will be passing this along to all of my friends and family. Just FYI…. @saborlatinstreetgrill has a sign on their door, which is clearly noticeable stating that outside food is not allowed inside!!!! And guess what? “This girl” decided to make her way down to the Old Armor Beer Company, knock on the door because it wasn’t open yet, waiting for whoever to open it and ask about their outside food policy in front of Bella and I making us look ridiculously dumb & embarrassing!!!! We were told the policy has changed due to “food poisoning” complaints…. 🤔🤔 Maybe @thebankfoodhall should take some notes on how to treat...

We Wanted to check it out on Sunday. First things first. The interior looks awesome. However you can’t eat the atmosphere. Two of the Four restaurants were closed and the upstair loft area was closed. Very sad. So we picked one restaurant to order food from and had an ok meal. It did take over 45 mins to get our food. I did first hand witness a hug health code violation. They serve everything in Togo bags with your name. We spent $45 for two entrées with no drinks. My wife went to get our food after we got a text that our food was ready. She Went to pick it up and someone else pick up our order. This is where it got bad. I went to see what was going on and the person that picked up our bag brought it back. The owner right in front of me re packed our order and wanted to give it to me like nothing happened. I was… NOPE. I’m not eating something after it’s been at someone else’s table. I pray that they did remade it. So we now can’t trust what other health code violations are going on behind counters at this food hall. If the owner can’t get it right then they are not training the staff to do it right. I understand this place is new but each of the restaurant are not. Big miss for us. We will check the health scores in 6 months to see how they are. Until then. Not going back.

Just got informed that this same issue happened to a friend yesterday from the same place Not a good start...

We’ve tried all of the food stalls offered at this point and I am very happy with everything so far.

It’s disappointing to see other reviewers who have left very negative comments largely based around the inevitable growing pains of opening a restaurant. If you are impatient and unwilling to let a local small business work out the kinks, why would you go in the first weeks of them opening? It’s going to take more than two weekends for them to learn best practices.

The atmosphere was so fantastic. I met new people, ate great food, had some excellent drinks.

Skinny Buddha had good hibachi. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely good enough to keep me from driving to Huntersville. I haven’t had the sushi yet, but heard good things.

The pizza was so good! I’m excited to try more from this stall. It is a different type of pizza than Corner Crust so I believe both can operate successfully in a small area.

The smoothies were also excellent and fresh! I’m very excited this is here. I’d much rather support a small business than smoothie king in Afton.

Big City Bites is what it’s always been. I really enjoyed my order.

A food hall was exactly was Kannapolis needed! With time, as the new operation kinks are worked out this will be a staple...
