What a pleasant surprise! I’m not a big music fan or motor sports fan. Doesn’t matter. Immaculate, educational, friendly, not crowded, plenty of interesting grouped musician and recording artifacts displayed nicely. The large collection of race cars and their significance in racing history was a bonus. 90 minutes went by quickly. You will learn about the amazing career of Mike Curb: musician, successful record company owner/executive, racing motor sports owner, and former politician. He knew everybody in racing and the music industry. Gene, the general manager of the museum is a friendly wealth of...

Use the convenient online internet site system for notifying your time reservation on line. This eliminates missing any planned and unplanned closing schedules. They confirm by email, easy peasy.

Great , Fantastic Inductee displays of memorabilia, a wonderful wall of award winners! You will be surprised by how many outstanding North Carolinians are featured . Interactive displays are nice.

In addition there is an impressive collection of race cars of all types affiliated with Mike Curb and his auto racing group.

Admittance is free and donations accepted...

Wow, what a cool place to visit for FREE. Half the place is race cars that have sponsored curb records and the other half is NC music celebs displays with some personal belongings to see. What a cool place if you like Motorsports.

The doors are normally locked, just ring the doorbell and someone will greet you at the door. Friendly worker met us and let us know what they had and let us look around freely.

They have TWO Dale Earnhardt cars and a Richard Petty...

This is a must see museum for any music or racing lover. The exhibits are well designed and aesthetically pleasing. If you want to get the most from your visit, you'll need to scan the QR code to learn more about the artists. I wish there was a button to press to hear audio of their songs, but the collection of artifacts is lovely. The museum is free (accepts donations). It has odd hours, so make sure to plan your visit.
