This store has no customer service what so ever. I have spend my evening shopping around today with my husband for the soon coming baby as well as some stuff for myself, our house and few shirts for my Mr Wonderful. At the time of check out we spend over 20 min in line when there were only 4 people ahead of us. What I mean to say is that the 2 people at the cash register could not be slower even though the line only kept growing and they were in no rush to move the line. Long story short , one of the purchases I was making was tagged wrong, the difference in cost was less than $9 and it was mistags by Ross stuff. Ross refused to sell me the item even though it was tagged and sealed with the sensor. I asked to see the manager , I was dismissed, No apology, no explanation, I was simply told that I am not important and if I feel like I want to complain I need to call the number on the door. When I called the number to talk to general manager, the number I was so kindly advised to call, I reached the store manager on duty, same person who moved me and refused to sell me the item at the tagged price. Yet again the store misrepresented themselves, when I confronted the on duty manager, that he told me to call the number on the door , and I am getting to him again, he said to go on line , find out there number to the corporate office and get lost. How can people be so disrespectful to customers , needless to say I am upset, just to think how much of my money I have spend at the store and to be treated this way over mistake of ross employees accidental made when tagging the item as well as miss representation of the product all together. It upsets and angers me the fact that my evening was wasted, i was disrespected, whole situation was mishandled by the ross employees , and manager spoke in a dismissive manner and then just walked away to laugh with other employees who was just standing around not caring that the line of people was getting longer with every minute. In the society where customer service is valued I am shocked that no one cares at this store, I am so sorry I did not video taped and when i attempted to record and incident I was just moved away from the store. Needless to say I am not coming back to that place , a word of advise to shoppers, it that happens to you , video tape it, any lawyer will be happy to take them to court. If the product labeled with a tag , they have to sell it to you as they present it. Since you canāt take the carts from Ross outside the store (I donāt know why they do that I guess their to lazy to bring them back inside like any other store) I was using the other buggy since it was bigger & I could take it outside the store. Iām going outta town this weekend so I just wasnāt going to buy a few things I needed outfits for my kids & I as well as a luggage set. So Iām walking into the store when this lady I didnāt catch her name all I know was she was wearing a head scarf. Sheās literally blocking me from going into the store saying I have to use the carts from Ross. (No where does it say I canāt go in, nor do I have to use Rossās carts in or out of the establishment) I told her I couldnāt since I have my two small children with me itās not like someone was going to help me with the items I was going to purchase there. And the black lady with the Louisiana accent is always there and I went to return something but couldnāt find the receipt, ok I get rules but to treat me as if I need to lie about buying anything out of the store really didnāt sit well with me and I was just going to stop shopping at Ross, but Saturday I decided to go to another location and they were so professional and let me know that normally they donāt accept items back without a receipt but would exchange it this one time.
