Today was my fourth or fifth time going to this location. Like any other time, I visited this location today with my partner to buy him a new facial moisturizer, and regretted it by the time we were ready to check out. Everything was going smoothly until we reached the register. At the register, there were two workers, as we approached my partner and I inquired about a product we wanted to purchase.
One of the two items we took to the register was a tester, so I asked if they had additional inventory. One of the workers took the item to check back stock for a new one, leaving us at the register with another worker. As we waited, I begin to walk around and then picked up a miniature size moisturizer I had used in the past to let my partner feel out the consistency and quality to make sure he was set on the item we were inquiring about. I tested the product by putting a little on my partner's hand, the worker that was left at the register immediately stated out loud aggressively “that’s not a tester” and then asked if we wanted to purchase the item. As I looked up and glanced over, I had already notice the worker had been giving us a mean, uninviting, irritated look. Though she was wearing a mask, her eyes undoubtedly said it all.
After the worker rushed over and asked if we wanted to purchase the item we just tested. I replied no, she then asked for the item I still had in my hand and proceeded to take the item, while ignoring my apology. She then scanned the item, damaged it out, and disposed of it in a garbage bag that was sitting behind the registers. Furthermore, unprofessionally all of this was done right in front of us as we stood at the register waiting for an update on the stock check.
Throughout our time there, she never asked if we needed any further assistance or how we found everything, just avoided us until I started to browse. As someone who works in customer service, I found her behavior and reaction disgusting, unacceptable, and uncalled for.
In addition, as an Ulta credit card member for years now, this experience left me with a horrible feeling. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it.

My appointment was cancelled because I didn’t show up (mind you, it was unintentionally scheduled for a wrong date). I went ahead to reschedule my appointment for another date (August 20th). I was running 5 minutes late and professionally, I called the shop to inform them I was on my way but I will be 5 minutes late (I was already on my way and almost at the shop). The lady over the phone refused to let me come in and told me I had to reschedule my appointment. I was disappointed cos I was already at the shop but I went back home. I patiently rescheduled my appointment for the following day (August 21st) for 6:15pm.
I got to the shop at 5:55pm (20 minutes to my appointment time) only to find out that my appointment was cancelled by the stylist known as NIURLLY G. 45 minutes to my appointment!!! I spoke to the manager about it and the stylist called NIURLLY G. went on to lie that she called me @ 1:00pm to confirm my appointment (I never received or missed any call from ultra today) so I do not know why she will come up with such a lie. Read moreIf I could give 0 starts I would. This place is so messy and besides that the people who works in here are honestly miserable and so rude to the customers. Halle, one of the associate at the register welcomed me with attitude when I told her I need to do some returns and pickup an order. The whole time doing the transaction , she just sighed and makes you think she hates her job. She started cursing while she was doing the transaction. I guess because she couldn’t scanned the receipts. She started to squeezed and shaken all the products to see if I was returning something that was empty. That made me feel uncomfortable plus her attitude. After all that, she called her manager because it needs an authorization to process my return. Waited there for like 20 minutes - no manager showed up and the whole time the associate was on her phone . I have to reminded her that I need to pick up some products even though I mentioned that to her before she start to process the return. Otherwise, probably she would be on her phone the whole time.
