The night manager Mr P. loses all control 10 minutes b4 closing. Not only has he yelled at me while I was checking out. I was in line b4 11pm(closing) but a customer in front of me. At 11 pm he starts swearing & carrying on. He was in line w/a watermelon. He had his entire shift to purchase watermelon. I've witnessed him chasing customers thru store yelling its closing time etc. That starts at 10 of 11pm. He is so rude, being a front end manager for years myself, he needs to be fired. Perhaps start the write up process to suspension then loss of job. Also has not been cat food for wks. Plenty of dog food. Tonight 11/03/21 I purchased every flavor of FF available. Today 11/12/22 I went to the Keene location due to time restraints as I had to pick up a purchase elsewhere. I arrived earlier than normal. I was extra cheerful & friendly. 2 females in the dairy section were very friendly. I still found myself running from item to item. It was similar to a panic attack, the fear of the manager chasing me. They started announcing at 10pm that the store closes at 11pm. You have an hour but we ask that you bring your final selections to the registers. For the entire hour I was checking the time on my phone, even with the every 10 minute announcement to bring your final selection to the registers. That Hannaford closes at 11pm exactly. The announcements were not a friendly we appreciate our customers. No sound of gratitude, pure threatening tone "closes at exactly 11pm". At the register I had the exact same extremely rude & very mouthy young lady, cashier#0109. I took a breath as if breathing in all the joy I could inhale. I began chatting in a very friendly manner as she stood there with her arms criss crossed over her chest, glaring at me. I ignored her lack of any friendly responses, really nothing came out of that mouth. I continued to say I'm sorry while running my payment thru as if I control how fast the machine processes cards. I honestly won't return unless I am again in a position of ABSOLUTELY NO other option. The effect on my health, mental & physical is not worth it. It's 11:27pm & I'm still just sitting in my car trying to breath & let my heart slow. As I was leaving I continued by saying you all have a great wkend. A customer responded saying TY, you as well. I yelled over to the rotten manager who was by express c/o, night you I hope you also have a good wkend. Nothing. I want headquarters in Maine to fully explain to me personally how that man remains employed by Hannaford. Read moreAn employee, Tracy at hannafords to go, made a false report againsed me. I was a gig worker for instacart. I lost everything because of getting banned from hannafords. Not only am I banned from this store, but EVERY hannafords in the country.
The other day, I ran into a customer I used to have every week. She was getting a hair cut from my mom. She cried that I hadn't been delivering to her.... Other instacart shoppers don't care, I do. I go the extra to make sure the customer is happy. She needs the items brought to her apt on the 4th floor. Actually this makes me quite angry, seeing her cry due to Tracy, hannafords to go manager ruining the shopping experience for so many customers.
I have a 4.96 rating, with over 1200 batches completed the last 2.5 years. 1k of those are from hannafords......
It all started in March. When I noticed another instacart shopper cheating (maureen). Her husband was helping her. Can't do that. I mentioned this to Tracy. That's it. That has caused her to make up things to get me banned. It's sickening. 7 months I've been chasing this issue. Instacart actually got the ban lifted! Then Tracy made another "unrelated report" to get me banned again.
I want to make this clear. Tracy has hurt many many customers by doing this. You helped your friend, Maureen, take over that store due to making up reports. Which, for months hannafords had ignored. I had a rep count the ticket numbers have. Total number is 10. You can double or triple that if we are talking phone calls I've made about this.
The trail of misconduct is long and obvious. I have more than 100 screen shots and recordings about everything that has transpired. I am amazed to even be typing this. How on earth has this not been resolved.... I am the best instacart shopper in the area. Not only has this hurt customers and myself, but hannafords aswell!!!!!
Every single time I would work, I would complete 8-10 batches. Mostly at hannafords. Some days, we are talking $4k+ in sales JUST with me.
I was involved in an accident in 2020, I needed this job. I needed something I can make my own schedule. I am very good at this. Tracy has ruined this for me. Very hard for me to accept this level of wrong doing. This is the lowest a human can possibly go. Making up false claims to get someone banned. 7 months I feel like I've been silenced, this won't go away.

The night manager is the rudest man I've ever seen in a management position. I've witnessed him physically chasing customers while yelling at them, at 10:45pm. Hannaford closes at 11pm. They make the normal announcements att customers the time is now etc. At 10:55 they ask you to bring your purchases to the register. Absolutely! Yet the entire time you are checking out he is standing there literally YELLING at you. I can not make sense of how this man is still employed! At the very least demote him. I have stated that you close at 11pm. That does not mean at 11pm you have your coat on, keys in hand, walking out the door. I began working for Hannaford at 14YO. I stayed for many years, successfully climbing the ladder to management. This attitude nor behavior would never have been tolerated. I was in the Keene store a few days ago. I was shocked when a very young lady bagging my groceries made a VERY RUDE statement that I will not repeat. I looked at this child(I am 50 YO & disabled), I flat our asked her if she was taking over for the D__k bag night manager? She was very pleased w/herself & replied rudely yeah I have! Then boom there he is breathing down my neck running his mouth. I've been abused by the night employees for over 10 months now. I am now contacting co-operate. As I worked for the company for so many years this is an easy task. I've been recording these interactions for months now. If anyone else is suffering from the same abuse, reach out to me.
