Performance Auto Sound — Attraction in Kennewick

I had a sub installed purchased from an outside vendor. Mike had me come in and made sure the items I wanted installed were compatable with my Chevy ZR2. He heard the stereo that came with the truck and suggested the sound proofing for the truck as well. This product by itself cuts outside noise by at least 70%. It also makes the door SOLID so now it FEELS like a truck door when handled. The Bose speaker system had to have bass maxed out and still no boom to it. Ask the crew about the "card" that can assist with your purchase. I was approved in minutes for all around speaker replacement with the sound proofing and installation of the product. THIS was an all day job which was pretty cool to watch. Mike scheduled me and Christmas was here for me. Mike and the crew did an amazing job hooking this system up. I was there literally all day. It by far was no small task.(This was by my choice.) While during the install a family emergency occurred and I got to see this team become A TRUE TEAM with not only the compassion they had for my situation, but also the professionalism that is rarely seen today in customer service. JOE my installation professional and the ENTIRE team pulled together and knocked 2 hours off the install time. I made it home with a FANTASTIC SOUND SYSTEM!!! These men of Perforamce auto sound are a team that gets the job done professionally, clean, and with care for your vehicle that gives an owner a sense of security . Again HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO JOE!!! Thanks bro she sounds AMAZING!!!! I look forward to getting all of my lighting for off road and camera system installed in the near future. Equipment installed - Kenwood DMX905S

I had a $480 head unit installed. Total cost was $1000 after wiring harness and labor costs. Seems like a bit of a stretch but hey, Ok, I can maybe understand that. Nonetheless, I was constantly pushed to purchase more equipment or better equipment than we had agreed upon. Every opportunity that the installer had, a product was pitched that could be installed since he was already "in there".

I was told that if I wanted to get a subwoofer installed in my vehicle that a custom box would need to be fabricated (at a very high premium, of course), and that a truck box simply would not fit.

I was told by one employee (mike) that I would need to order expensive special sized dash speakers since my cutouts are an odd size. An hour later a different employee blatantly said "I was hoping he (mike) wouldnt get to talk to you first, because i fit the speakers in there all the time". I was told that my phone cables are not compatible with android auto (weeks old factory Samsung cables) and also that they wouldnt attempt to fix the poor antennae reception in the new unit because "it was like that before",

I was also told that a backup camera could not be installed with existing power wiring that was already tapped into the reverse brake lights

Lastly, two employees were not present and it was like pulling teeth getting scheduled. Well I have to fear not, because I went to Audio King and Tinting 2 and had done exactly what PAS couldnt.

The entire experience left a bad...

I came in inquiring about an install price for the subs. I stated that I was buying a package deal online that I just wanted install quotes. The employee I was working with wanted to see my truck told me that he could build a custom box for more money than I was already spending.. after I declined his offer he told me to just come back when I was ready to have them build me something and make a sale then walked inside. I had to track him back down inside the store which took 5 minutes as he went into a back room. Finally, when he came out I asked him for a quote as I originally came in for. He gave me an install estimate of well over double what everywhere else in town gave me.( right at about a grand to install subs) I went to another shop. And not only did they check out my speakers. Test the audio on my stock system bit verified what was in my package I purchased online and could give me accurate pricing on the install. At no point did the employee here try to work with me. Or ask vehicle specific questions or really even try to see what options my vehicle had. As I found out from the other shops that he was charging me for an install price on a “higher trim” with much more expensive “stock” audio systems noise canceling systems etc. that mine doesn’t have. Once I declined the custom box I felt like I should just screw off. Was quoted about $340 and 415 for install at the other local shops which to me is much...
